I believe the dishonorably-enriched C.L. Franklin served mammon over God. Just look at C.L.'s predicament upon which his eternal soul was unquickened from his person. Clarence was murdered as part of a home robbery at his mansion in Detroit.
Call me not Sherlock, but I gather a faithful pastor would never have lived in a mansion-especially when surrounded by such poor parishioners.
Please explain the paradox of the ultra-wealthy (by worldly standards) preacher, because I see no sense in such a put on. I can explain to you that a pimp/numbers-man-preacher destroys a community spiritually by inverting devotees of God into donors to his pocket.
----------
----------
Matthew 6:19-24 (KJV)
19 Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:
20 But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:
21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
22 The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.
23 But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness!
24 No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

He sure was the quintessential orator. The man could preach. As far as the scandals I was not there. But hooping preachers you hear today got it from Rev. C.L. Franklin. R. I. P.

I believe that C.L. Franklin was in a coma for years before passing surrounded by his family and friends.

C.L. seems to have been a monster to women in his family and women in general. C.L.'s memory ought not be so glowing if he was in fact a serial abuser of women (allegedly including the person that shot him [either knew a victim or was a victim of C.L.'s abuse {according to some accounts of events}]) I believe his killer was charged with murder once C.L. FINALLY succumbed to the gun shot wound YEARS later. Murder is murder regardless of timing. Two birds with one stone.

It wasn't a robbery, there was supposedly 25 g's found on the dining room table, rumor has it that he may have been killed because he messed over someone's little girl. He loved to mess with those little girl's. There was another twelve year old girl pregnant by CL around the same time that Aretha was pregnant. This is all alleged of course. But......

I heard he was shot in the knee and groin but remained in coma for 5 years ?
@ryanellis4474

ALLEGEDLY -- He had been church-hopping in the classic scheme of men of the cloth, who abuse the innocent sexually. That is the reason I heard he was shot in the groin--one of his victims (or their messenger at least) caught up to him and ended his ability to continue abusing innocents sexually. I heard the FBI revealed MLKJR was that same way but far more heinous and with far more victims. He used his itinerant lifestyle to rape and organize the mass raping of parishioners at perverted churches--most infamously including one not far from the White House. This is the real blackmail the three-letter-extra-judicial-mafia used against the plagiarist. :-:- I do not know if Lee would want to parse those details on camera.

It should go without saying, but you have to figure that for everything you hear, there is much more (that is much more interesting) not published. The same is true with this anthology/documentary project with my very, very, very dear and beloved friend, Lee. And the same is true in the case of this topic. I am trying to find an artful way to get the rest of this story out.

That is like saying class action lawsuits should not exist if the negative effects are not immediate. KZbin would deplatform me if I said a ClotShot joke right about now, but I will not, in part because of KZbin, and in part because, oftentimes, the negative effects are immediate.

It appears Aretha's father was a deeply evil man that hurt a lot of innocent women, starting with the women in his own household. It is no surprise Aretha became a timeless talent with a father dubbed "the man with the golden voice" who also had insane, misplaced energy that he poured into the ladies around him, Aretha included. I believe the genetics of his perfect voice, combined with the pressure cooker environment he created for Aretha's growing up, turned Aretha Franklin into a superstar she NEVER would have been otherwise. That said, I want peace and happiness among men, and I would MUCH rather live in a world without Aretha Franklin's all time classics existing if it meant the Franklin household would rather have been a godly one instead of one that the devil controlled.

@ryanellis4474
@ryanellis4474 Жыл бұрын
Who is drunk? Lee is a teetotaler. I would wager it has been years since the Legendary fellow has touched a drop. There are two simple explanations for the way Lee speaks. First, he is a southerner, so he has a southern drawl that emerges. Second, his teeth combat his speech, and I PRAY you never have to deal with that issue (many who live into old age will), because people will be accusing you of being drunk too. Judge not lest ye be judged, Nils. Take care of your teeth!

When Aretha was six, her mother left CL because he had impregnated a twelve year old girls, ( they chased him out of ...i think it was either Mississippi or Buffalo for it) He LOVED him some little girl's. No one knows what ever happened to that little girl or baby.
