Ok but ogura is actually super threatening, it’s exactly like he said no matter how many times you beat him, he keeps coming back stronger and stronger, you legitimately can’t win against him unless you seal him

Doppel is pretty cool, it’s more challenging then the previous ones, and it’s attacks and abilities are not only creative but seem like abilities starfy could learn

My guess: Bankiross is meant to be a dinosaur. If Nintendo fully translated the game, they will change his name to “Spikosaur” or “Thornzilla”.

Sega: abandons all their other characters and use just sonic. Nintendo: abandons starfy and uses the rest of their characters. Thought that was at least interesting like Nintendo did a reverse sega thing🤔 but fr i wish Nintendo at least revisited this.

@@shartlord Yup! After beating the game the first time, when you go to fight the bosses again, there are some differences intended to make them harder. For example, the jellyfish boss replaces the tip of one of his tentacles with a normal ball, which... I don't know how that was supposed to make him harder but whatever. I don't remember much of the rematches, though.

I'm very surprised since there was a fan translation that was being worked on but was eventually cancelled. I wonder if this one is an unknown finished translation. Edit: it seems that this might be a mostly finished fan translation that is, from what I can read, still in development but is only fixing up syntax and other bugs.

You can put a fan translation patch on a ROM of the game so you can freely play in English (except the graphics, the actual text was translated).
