Kizaru has always been the main character of One Piece. We've just been following the B story that is Luffy and the Strawhat Pirates. Kind of like how The Hobbit follows the exploits of Bilbo Baggins when Bard the Bowman is the true hero that kills Smaug. You're all welcome. 😁

Now you see why he was taking his sweet time at Sabaody Island. If he was going full monkey, the Strawhats would have never gotten their 2-year time skip. He was buying time for Rayleigh and Kuma to do their thing as a favor to Vegapunk and so he had an excuse when the Gorosei would chastise him off-screen because if they showed the Gorosei dressing him down in the aftermath of Sabaody, it would spoil all the current events. The Gorosei are Smaug. Kizaru is Bard. Luffy is Bilbo. One Piece/The Hobbit are the best of stories and super inspiring. Kizaru is the main hero, though. Luffy is just the fancy dressing. Joyboy is propaganda. Kizaru is the sun that brings us light.

He won't unleash full-monkey until he fights the Gorosei. He's purposely dimming his light so that Imu and the Gorosei will underestimate his true power in the final battle. Saint Garling Figarland is the only member of the Gorosei that understands Luffy and Joyboy are self-indulgent propaganda and Kizaru is the true Sun god that will bring light to the world.

it's crazy when you think about it. luffy has devil fruit awakening and advance conqueror haki. kizaru got none of those (or at least he wasn't using those), and still managed to score a tie with luffy. this makes me very happy that power scaling in one piece is not exactly linear and there are more than one ways to be strong

I mean hes said to have the highest tier of defensive haki and logias that do the quick switch like kizaru have high tier Observation haki (I cant remember if it was stated future sight or not so I wont say it). its still impressive even if he did have it because OP established he has to work for it to be as balanced as luffy has it.

Kizaru even with mental nerf was stronger than gear 5 luffy with 1 meal of food. Kizaru is not more durable than bigmom or kaido but he is faster, luffy had to adapt with a quicker attack. That attack which took everything from gear 5 luffy could only put him down for a brief period, and he was active even before luffy finished his food

there is no such thing as "yonko level" and "admiral level" it should be pretty obvious based not only on feats, but also the narrative, that the yonko and admirals are equal in terms of power. Even back since post enies lobby, the first insight we get into the admirals is that they are meant to counteract and equalize the yonko.

Kizaru was literly faking injury vs luffy its confirmed, also only admiral not injured in marineford, had no issues dealing with whitebeard and trolled ben beckmann who is considered equal to shanks. So its pretty safe to say kizaru is really the strongest of the three og admirals and is near pk level as he was ready to take on two yonkos at the same time aswell in wano. This is probably a controversial but true take, but kiado and big mom high diffed by kezaru because the only reason he was bared from wano is the unknown power of the samurai of wano that as far as the navy would know is equal to oden or alive ryuma and that luffy who is objectively stronger than kiado is still weaker than a full power kezaru as kezaru was mentally nerfed in egghead along with using no haki during egghead

Garp continuously said that aokiji was wavering, and that he wasn't going all out, he was stuck in the past. How the fuck would it make any sense for the same character who's hammering this idea into aokiji, to be commiting the same act of wavering, when the entire point of his character is that he isn't going to repeat the same mistake he made with ace. This should be very basic reading comprehension. 2. Akainu packed up whitebeard. they had 3 interactions. in the first one whitebeard striked akainu and akainu blocked it casually. in the second incounter akainu blew a hole in whtiebeard's chest while he was sick. in the third, wb caught akainu offguard, despite this, whitebeard lost half a head and akainu was bleeding, but then still had the energy to solo the entire wb pirates. 3. we havent seen akainu or aokiji's awakening so i have no idea what ur talking about 4. akainu was never scared of whitebeard, ur just writing ur own story

Sakazuki was helping Kizaru stay under the radar by ordering him to not engage because if Kizaru wrecked Wano the way you described, the Gorosei would get wise to the notion that Kizaru, not Luffy, is the true threat to Imu. That's why Sakazuki apologized when Kizaru felt remorse in the aftermath of Egghead Island. Sakazuki knows he'd just a figurehead giving alley-oops in the larger machinations that is Kizaru bringing down the Gorosei.

Akainu and Aokiji are definitely stronger than Kizaru but they’re both strong enough to be fleet admirals, Kizaru is the strongest actual admiral for sure, same defense as Sentomaru, advanced armament and possibly future sight, broken logia, beating people like Marco, Rayleigh, Sanji and Luffy, very impressive resume, people talk about people like Kaido and Bigmom being the strongest characters but Kizaru would beat them 2v1, he’s not exactly the strongest character in the verse but he’s the next mountain for Luffy to climb Wym Kizaru doesn’t have the durability of Kaido and Bigmom? Aokiji sacrificed his leg and Akainu reaffirmed his conviction in a ploy to distract the Gorosei for when they actually make their strike, their strongest brother, Borsalino, will have an opening because he wasn't involved in the preceeding chaos.

Whatever trial by fire Kizaru went through to surpass Kuzan and Akainu may not have been mentioned because it bears no impact on Luffy's adventures. There are thousands of epic events that are potentially equivocal or superseding the events of Punk Hazard that Kizaru could have been a part of that are not relevant Luffy's adventure. Fujitora and Aramaki didn't just burst into existence. They were always as powerful as they are but weren't mentioned until they became relevant to Luffy's adventure. Shiki is probably more dangerous than Buggy, but Shiki is not a part of Luffy's story the way Buggy is. Kizaru could well have multiple Punk Hazard level battles that aren't mentioned because they don't add to Luffy's story.
