Theory: Oda was always looking at a rock solid road map every time he predicted that One Piece would end in "about 5 years", but then he saw an internet theory like this, got a bit mad that they were getting too close to the truth, and went into a fugue state to change the story and add things to debunk the theories after the fact. This has bloated the story to heretofore unseen levels of complexity. The irony is that by theorizing, we effectively debunk our own theories.

At the time this was written we were told that the last island in the Grand Line was "Raftel"-- it was only later that we found out that the last island is "Lodestar". So just replace "Raftel" with "Lodestar" here and it might be pretty accurate-- they get to the last island, have a big fight with all of the other Yonko and then sail to where the One Piece is located.

I don't have time to watch video rn but let me tell you this. Luffy is the one who will find one piece but he won't be pirate king. pirate king will be buggy the clown. He became warlord, then yonko by just pure luck. If you think about it, it only makes sense that he gets that title. For luffy, he will probably make is actual dream reality that we don't even know about.

find the whitebeard vs. luffy meeting funny(especially during that time luffy would've been wrecked hard.)/compared to the buster call do feel like some factions could've gotten involved with kaido considering the buildup his goal got(especially the grand fleet for a few scenes like bringing jinbei over with how sudden it felt not showing what happened to the sun pirates/the marines screwing themselves over HARD fighting the warlords when the only one they defeated being weevil and letting luffy get ancient power to an extreme degree.). though do find interesting some parts of the series were predicted nearly 20 years ago(about around the time i was getting into shonen jump.:3) & like the name pirate summit.(do think a part of the ending will be showing the strawhats traveling through the past islands reuniting with/returning allies back home.)

7:11 Quality of translations has indeed improved a lot since then. But it is still a difficult task... and this is not helped by Oda-sensei's way of talking obscurely, about that man and that thing, and that time... and referencing things that happened offscreen. Also Japanese often elides subjects and other infos suposedly already in context. But sometimes, we readers don't have the context. For example, I'm almost certain that every single translator chose the wrong context for the little boy on Sphinx in chapter 909. Japanese doesn't specify whose younger brother they are talking about. Both official and unofficial tranlations says "my little brother", which, without context is a very fair choice (and one Toei chose to develop on). However, I'm quite sure they were talking about one of Marco's little brothers (one of Whitebeard's sons).

That's when Garp showed up, and told Luffy his Father was dragon, and we learned about the revolutionary army. We saw dragon save luffy in chapter 100, but he wasn't named in that chapter. So how did he know dragons name before water 7/Enies Lobby ended? Unless he came back and added to his theory later??
