This has been an issue for a long, loooong time. You really need to mod the campaign AI to play beyond turn 70 or so because it can hobble along for about that long before breaking entirely.

One mod that really made the game enjoyable for me is the realistic ai aggressive mod, now they don't just sit around passively next to a foe they absolutely despise. They now focus on expanding, and get into alliances with other factions quickly .​@@nonesuch6833

Finally some proper Tzeentch shenanigans, I really hope that CA will make him more fun and the mechanic to be useful for more than just on or two things by making real changes to Tzeentch and not just skirting around the issue with more units or minimal changes. Anything less is waste of resourcss. With the research completed you could have teleported stance for ambushes for free 😁

Hey, Legend, I think the issue with Glean Magic is that there is a cap to your winds at the start of battle based on your initial availability. You can't get above a certain amount, but you can generate up to that infinitely. I also may be wrong.

I've seen the AI stack armies around turn 40. They then do nothing for 20+ turns. Some mod creators have told CA it's a CAI bug but CA can't be bothered to fix it.

This is the result of the last time they tried to "fix" the AI by removing the economical component and gave AI factions even more cheats than before. Let's face it, they are unable to provide a decent campaign AI

@Ron_Jambo_ they would be very capable if big youtubers called them out on it. Big companies can suffer because of this. CA has reverted to creating spectacle instead of strategy and good games. And the likes of Legend are letting them get away with it because there's money to be made from both parties. Legend has gotten very lenient, this along with the other shills has created a below medicore game. Compared to WH2, for example, the game is a shadow of what I thought it would be. I would have quit Warhammer total war with WH2 if I knew this was the outcome.

Recently had this happen with vampirecounts but even worse. Pretty sure there were around 15+ armies stacked together. And as you know vampirecounts redline gives -4 or 5 local enemy leadership. Was very rough cause I had literally no leadership to work with at all.

Glean Magic from the Lords of Change looked like it could be activated on Kairos when hovering over his portrait down by the army, rather than on him on the battlefield.

I can understand raiding for the ai but they should ATLEAST try to use ambushes like the player does and not spam 10 armies on the same spot. The player still spams armies but it's far more controlled and depends on the faction, the Ai does not care which faction they are.

Pigeon doomstack is my go to when I play as Kairos. Super weak in autoresolve but can demolish just about anything on the battlefield. The Glean Magic used to work just fine with the pigeons. I remember distinctly having full winds and 250 reserve that I stole.

Yeah yesterday I got taste of them in my Gorbad campaign,my god Queek was so bloody annoying I had to restart. And there was a bug that spawned Vermintide army, after Alliance with Queek, what was that I sold him settlement and he accepted peace and alliance, shortly after on end turn, army spawned and attacked me then Queek was at war AGAIN!

As others have stated i've had the same issue Greenskin campaign had the Vampire counts stack 11 armies in one location and had to whittle them down with attrition and only have them come back in for round 3,4,5, with the resummoned armies. I had to bring in 3 full stacks of arachs artillery, giant squigs and waghh armies, i also had da biggest scalies trophy and man it took forever to get them to finally break. This was not a legendary campaign but very hard as they just sat there with kugath/grimgor/greasus all parked next to them and were there for almost 11 turns until i could get my armies over to deal with them.

if the ai would use whats available to them in a normal way it'd be a challenge but they kinda bug out if they have too much force. happens to normal non-endgame AI with loads of armies as well for some reason.

Would you recommend adding Aekold Helbrass to a Lord of Change stack? He provides healing, campaign replenishment, a larger heal cap, 7 WoM Regrowth and acts as a failsafe if your cultist gets wounded. You do miss out in 12 bound spells in turn, so idk.
