I’m pretty damn late but I still wanna say this, I’m usually not one to watch these mega long streams I prefer to watch campaigns in episodes idk why just feels easier to digest for me. But this stream was awesome to watch because this campaign felt so cool and immersive, it was amazing to see legend actually have somewhat of a challenge from the game that isn’t just some bug, thanks for the awesome video legend.

Watching Legend reminds me of why I play on VH/normal battle difficulty-I like diverse armies and you can’t do that in legendary if you’re serious about winning (mostly regarding older races that haven’t received updates)

the stream was awesome and gave me an idea for some future content. essentially you play some farming streams where you farm lords with all of the good defeat traits and then at the end of the year or something you do an ultra hard campaign where you use all of the superpowered lords you have collected

I finally gave the Skaven a try just because of how often you mention you like em. I gotta say I fken hated em at first, but when I got the hang of em it's not even fair and tons of fun. Two things are broken now though Ikit claws quest battle weapon never fires and the damn rattling guns are finnicky as hell to get em to fire and useless in sieges even though sieges are trivial with just 2 mortars. I used Packmasters instead of plague priests for summons as well super fun and just straight broken when they get their mount and all have regen.

Just off of my personal experience, I think Ratlings are reluctant to shoot if allies are in their line of fire, unless directly ordered to shoot. This seems less to be the case if they have an elevated ground. I've had a few battles go sideways just because my Ratlings will sit there and let my front line get decimated. (Which they should always get decimated, just by me and not the enemy.) I could be completely fucking wrong, but giving them an open line of sight helped me personally.

Rating guns fire directly straight, which is probably why they aren't firing for you. They're one if the few missle units in the game with almost 0 arc to their projectile, stuff like jezzails and most other gun units have a very slight arc allowing them to sometimes fire over hills but not the rating gunners Create gaps in your line for them to shoot through or fight at the bottom of a hill with the ratings at the top for better results

I think it would be nice to have a tierlist or something like top 5 non-unique weapons/armor etc. in the game. I'm not that sure what are good and what are not.

This is the one of the few games I am looking forward to play if I can afford a better pc at some point, also Imrik was my total favorite in TWW2, had a blast with it.

I don’t know how, but somehow this legendary campaign looks easier than every normal campaign I’ve attempted with Imrick. Tretch almost always declares war on me as soon as I take one of the minor settlements of Drazhuath, and then I have to deal with the Blue Rose Caravan and the ogres to the east. Not to mention I don’t get lucky with the AI and both Draz and Tretch make a beeline for the Plain of Bones through either underway or just running. I really want to play this campaign because I love dragons so much but holy shit it’s so frustrating.

when i played as count noctulus i found it much much easier to just sack and raze half of ulthalaun and then leave it alone taking the massive amount of money to build his ship up and then establish control over brettonia. as they suck in seiges lol. its much harder to hold on to settlements in ulathalaun and investing in them is just too risky as the returns are so low and elf can beat u up in seiges when noctulous is not present 24/7

I can 100% confirm that AI magic bug that legend talks about is real :D just had a battle me with Helmat vs Greasus where he had a levelled firebelly so I put my army in the forest and went to snipe the enemy caster first . I KILLED it and I went to fight with my stacked army of zombies the entire battle that lasted 15 min the AI was casting fire spell and the DEAD enemy wizard finished the battle with 129081 dmg from the grave ....

Hilarious people think saving a mage with a bad trait and didn't cost influence was worth trying. Some people, man. I did the Nagashizzar cheese and the only benefit for me was unlocking the bottom lines of tech very quickly. What wasn't optimal was having to attempt it a few times and it is not quick, I had to go to war with a powerful Queek to complete that province and then Skarbrand piled on and Thorek hated me eventually also declaring war.

That Legend has to elaborate on the fact that single entity units and hero units ruin Total war gameplay is beyond me and every other comment is "whats the next total war gunna be you think itll be Bronze age?... WW2?" people playing total war dont even know what total war is thats insane. "What do you mean people can be killed in combat with a stary arrow? Thats makes no sense I have 3500 hit points how can stary arrow kill me in combat?"

In my Ghorst campaign I had super easy and high relationships with Imrik. This alliance is somehow natural.

Bro, in my Imrik campaign I made friends with Ghorst. Its funny how surrounded by enemies strange alliances form. I did eventually break it and wipe him out but he made a good barrier/distraction for the early campaign

I would like to ask if TWWH3 is now the definitive game to play over TW:WH2. The last time I checked in Legend was waiting for them to get the game up to snuff before moving over and it seems like he's pretty much moved over. So did most of the snags get ironed out since the release?

Honestly I don't think I could go back to 2 if I tried. Don't get me wrong 3 has a lot of problems over 2 but I think the pros out weigh the cons and I'm hoping those problems will be ironed out eventually

Immortal empires does seem like the obvious next step, it was just that When the game came out It was a typical AAA release and I waited so after a year I wanted to see if the game had been stabilized.

The Imrik campaign is a nightmare, I'm not sure how you managed to get this far! When I've reached my first stack the chaos dwarves have two and just rampage through my territory, game over. Terrible campaign.

I love Warhammer 3 strictly because of the lore but as a total war game it is beyond subpar. Spamming the same units just sucks me right out of the immersion I still play and have fun but thats because I love old world Warhammer as a role playing game this thing just hinders you one after another

I dont understand the point to play on Legendary if you cheese the ammo from the enemy. Just use a mod with no ammo. You will be more productive "Legend" 🤣

All games are inherently arbitrary. The rules are all made up. Why can't soccer/football players use their hands to touch the ball? Why is traveling punished in basketball? Why can't rugby players pass the ball forward? Those games would likely be more"productive" if they "modded" it that way. Cheesing the game is the whole point of it. It's how he wants to play the game and what he finds fun.
