I've been wanting to open 2000-01 Upper Deck Legends on KZbin since I started my channel. This is one of the most heralded legends product ever produced due to the massive legend autos upside. Enjoy!

Wow, so you've decided to go all in with the big gun everyone wanted so badly. "Head explodes" confirmed. Super slick base design, although the glossy coating is sometimes a little bit off. Not my problem, but I can understand why it would upset the more casual set builder. Anyway, my take on the parallel tier levels is that since it's a throwback product they've decided to put the bronze age as the cornerstone. As a relentless Habs fan, I totally endorse your LeClair auto (by the way, J.L are my initials too), 93 being the only Montréal cup I've ever had the chance to witness. *Fingers Crossed* P.S : Boom Boom's signature is the definition of elegance. Got him twice in 99-00 UD Retro. Never complained.

I opened many of these back in the day. Loved the auto's (yeah, I hit a Samsonov, but I also hit a Beliveau + more!). My fave card I pulled was the Howe All-Star jersey (2 colour) with a teenage Gretzky sitting next to him (as shown early in the video). Still have all the cards I pulled! Thanks for the rip and for bringing back some great memories.

NYC is an absolute dead zone when it comes to hockey cards. A couple of years ago I did a video on where to buy hobby boxes online (kzbin.info/www/bejne/jKmzqamEl8-Beacsi=-QFQsnFIhD2eDEwk). The only LCS vaguely in NYC which actually has hockey cards, as opposed to just MLB or NBA, is Royal Sports & Entertainment in Forest Hills, Queens. They usually have all the new releases, and I'm on great terms with them. It's a commute, but doable and worth it. Don't even eff with Alex's MVP Cards & Comics on the UES. If they have anything other than OPC, I'd be gobsmacked. There used to be a great place on Wall Street, but it shuttered its doors years ago. In NYC, if you want a particular hockey product, you really have to call in advance to ensure they actually will have it. But, Royal is the spot.
