Wow you just finished playing through my favourite game 'Rebellion', and now you play my second favourite game 'Legends of Andor'!! This can't be happening?! :o

I think something went wrong in the translation, the dwarf only always rolls with 3 dice when on a cave square in my dutch translation

@@OneStopCoopShop Hi, I have the French version, and yes his special capacity (3 dice and +5 strength) is only applied on a cave square. I noticed problems in the French translation elsewhere in the rules as well , it's a problem since we don't really know how to interpret some aspects of the game... (i only played the legend 11 though, i didn't try the 12 yet)

You're definitely right about losing the first game or two learning the strategy you need to win. We got whooped the first time we played. Since you have 4 characters, it should be easier (we played with 2). We spent too much time adventuring, killing monsters, and getting the willpower gains at wells, etc. to try and make ourselves stronger before fighting the big guys (base game, not this one) instead of just getting to the objective of the game. So, we got killed by strong monsters with no time left on the track on the right side of the board to complete the objective(s). Having said that, you're going to have to get stronger. You won't get far with strength's of 1. I'm really happy you're playing through this. Good luck! (and have a good trip to AK!)

I forgot to add that it seems that teaming up against the strongest monsters is needed to defeat them. At least this is what we saw in the base game.

Sweet! Excited to delve into this. I love the story, just have a hard time with how scripted it feels sometimes. But still I enjoy it!

Yikes, that is a lot of setup. The board is gorgeous, even compared to the previous Legend of Andor games.

Yeah, setup is a bore unless you back your items well in your box. The board is my favorite so far!!
