I learned that, ironically, I'm close to Mike in tastes - with some exceptions (Ie, I like Marvel United more, I like Marvel Champions more than Arkham Horror LCG though I love both). I found myself slowly, progressively agreeing with each consecutive list more and more, heh. I've also heard that Massive Darkness 2 is supposedly fun in standalone mode, and that only the campaign mode is bad, but I can't personally attest to that as I've never played it.

Don't you have to fight the patrol once you enter a space where it is? I don't think you can take any other action when you're at a space with an enemy

Feels like a cross between Sword and Sorcery and the latest Descent.

I'm so used to playing multi-player games as solo that it seems like you are cheating every time you plan how a trick will go. 🤣

Hi! Great video. I dont understand minute 33:29. He is reading the Vip refugees card, and then he throws the dice twice (he got a 4 and 5) and puts two survivors in the hospital. Why? Where these survivors came from? English is not my mother language.

Solo trick taking, I am intrigued 🤔

Do you think it will have high replayability?

So disappointing that the box barely fits sleeved cards even when using very thin sleeves. I sleeve everything but really dislike the feel of cheap thin sleeves. What brand/thickness (in microns) did you use to just barely fit them in the box? I don't really like trick taking but I love co-ops and LotR so I have it pre-ordered (with the small promo for Hobby Next stores) but not being able to fit in the box sleeved is a deal breaker for me.

I really love the quest book and health tracker. By looking at the campaign page I'm worried there isn't enough story/quest variation there for me personally. The value vs amount of missions seems a little skewed. Also this game makes me wish cats of mont saint michel was shipping sooner haha.

5:44 if you marked harder cards with symboles you could have them shuffel into the deck when the dominance card came reached points. it would add to your multy dominance card feel as if kolos came out a third in would be diferent than high level nolbels coming in a third in and the other coming in at the 2 third mark would add to the set up time to seperate the deck.

I think the shotgun Hicks has does not lower his Defense but rather -1 to the die roll of the Alien attack. If the alien rolls a 7, the shotgun makes it a 6, which would allow hicks to survive. I could be wrong.

31:33 Why did you have to be forced to move into the the terrain instead of just walking straight backwards twice and down once to not be near the terrain and take no damage?

I whish the character boards were two sided, one like the current one for the first games and on the other side with a more expert and asymetrical set of powers

I love the miss born series. but I’m sad to see this doesn’t have bosses. I would’ve loved it if it was similar to Hogwarts battles.

My match is with the guy from 3 minute board games, its 100% in common, my top 10 is identical to his top 10. Spooky! Roll camera is 100% group dependent. My group are just a bunch of numnuts so it goes off for us like a box of fireworks. Also, for a channel called one stop co-op shop, you really should try Thunderbirds.

Nice playthrough. Before the scoring you said you are not eligible for the preview commission card but the solo rules in the booklet actually says this: Sell: On Day 8 (the final Round), the player may acquire the face-up Commission Card on the Commission Deck as well.

The first red enemy should have targeted Dorro instead of Krog, as he was farther away. You rolled a 5 and Dorro's defense was 6. He was flanked however so the attack should have hit him rather than missed Krog.

I love this game so much. It’s so quick and simple but with plenty of decision space. And the variable difficulty adjusting your score is a nice touch.

There are ten sort of mini campaigns by sounds of it. So 10 x 4 encounters I am guessing? Plus whatever sea combat ends up adding. Very interesting game to me as someone who loved Jaws of the Lion and Adventure Tactics this seems to take the best of both worlds. Seems like it will be easy to table too! Which is a huge plus.

This seems really clever, but... man... it's hard to know if this is worth having if you already have The Crew. Can't tell if it adds anything to make it feel all that different.

I'm wondering if the timer will become an issue on harder missions. I dont love timer games. I dont like setting up and feeling rushed to get through a campaign. Seems great otherwise.
