In 1987 a packaged tour was created called The Legends of Bluegrass and included Bill Monroe, Mac Wiseman, Jim & Jesse and Ralph Stanley. Festival promoters would book each one of these bands and the show would end with all the artists and many of their band members performing a set of music. This video features Bill Monroe, Jim and Jesse, Ralph Stanley and various members of each band performing the classic “Lonesome Road Blues”.
