He is the best ever cross rider tho.. Has way more wins in total. And also he has won way more superprestiges en World Cup trophies. I don't know what kind of drug you are taking for not realising this.

I think you've lost your mind@@gigivanhoutte3264. I shouldn't even have to write this, because it's obvious, but Sven Nys has only 2 World Champs, MVDP is about to make it 6. Further, MVDP was the youngest ever World Champ. If all MVDP did was cross, like Sven Nys, then in his career he would have way more total wins when it is all said and done, but instead MVDP is also busy winning Monuments, World Champs RRs and TDF stages as well as World Cups on the MTB.

@@bevillenz your talking about a probability not a fact. This is a video about cross not cycling in whole. Being more times world champion doesn’t equal being the best. You can talk to me when someone has more wins then Sven in total.

No one considers Sven Nys the greatest crosser of all-time anymore lol, not even in Belgium do they think that. He would have won almost nothing in his career if he had to compete against prime WVA, MVDP and Pidcock. Nys only dominated when cyclocross became a small-time sport (most talent fled to either Olympic MTB or the road). Nys was terrible on the road (and not for lack of trying) and MTB. Not a single notable win or result in those disciplines.

We are still talking about cyclo cross which confirms the titel best CROSSER not best cycling rider. I can understand if you compare it to the whole cycling. But here we are talking about the Cross. In wich Sven Nys won way more and when Wout van eart joined and mathieu in the cross. Sven was still winning against them so what's your point exactly?

@@gigivanhoutte3264 Sven Nys stopped dominating cross when WVA and MVDP were first year pros. They beat him far more often than the other way around. And they're much better now. Sven Nys would have been like Eli Iserbyt if he had to compete against MVDP & WVA.
