Also the Firestorm thing makes sense as all of his powers come from the idea of rearanging atoms to do stuff. That;s what Stein was working on before the accelerator exploded and was called project F.I.R.E.S.T.O.R.M.

If anyone hasn't already looked it up I'll try to help save some time. Rex Tyler is Hourman. Hourman is a chemist that has essentially created a pill that gives him super strength, invulnerability, super speed, night vision, and allows him to breath under water. but all this only last for one hour, hence the name. The Golden Age was a very different time that's for sure.

About the helmet, that was Sergeant Rock, the DC version of Captain America. I think there were experiments on his body ever. The helmet along with other superhero stuff is in rip's study. Even hourman's hourglass is there.

Really enjoyed the finale, but it could have been better. Suppose when Sara was begging Rip to go back to save Sara, he told her that although she has forgotten, they HAD tried to save Laurel, but it only led to the death of her father as well.Also It would have been a badass last line if Rex Tyler had said Leonard Snart had sent him back to warn them.

QNA: When you were discussing how Vandal could be killed at 3 separate points in time, I see it as Kendra didn't make Vandal mortal and kill him until 2021 (the Vandal that was time traveling, and from 2166) so that is technically the point where he permanently died. The other 2 could would have still been immortal and able to continue the timeline. Admittedly the show probably could have explained it better, or left out Sara and Mic killing him. However, those two needed the closer of killing Vandal the most, next to the Kendra and Carter and Rip. Sara needed to kill him because of Laurel and Mic because of Snart. The show allowed each of these characters a chance to get revenge/justice against Vandal while also saving the world.

#QnA The helmet belonged to Sgt. Rock, who was a hero in DC's WW2 timeline. He's kind of like the Captain America of DC, so it would make sense that someone like Rip would have a souvenir from a superhero (his helmet is also pretty famous for having that pattern).

Rex Tyler was the first Hourman. He had a special pill that allowed him super powers for just one hour. He was an original member of the JSA along with Jay Garrick, The original Green Larntern, Hawkman, Sandman, Black Canary, Wonder Woman, Superman and others. But they were from Earth 2. After the whole Crisis on infinite earths they ended up on Earth 1. There have been three Hourmen. Tyler, The Android was the second and Tyler's son was the third. LOVE the JSA even more than the JLA! So exited for season 2 of Legends Of Tomorrow.

The helmet also had bullet holes in it, I think that is what gave it away to her as the same one, she recognized the arrangement. Other than that however it was rather contrived, however maybe time it's self was on their side... I can't imagine it wanted to be rewritten.

Hourman is a founding member of the JSA, he was one of many JSA heroes teased on the Legends instagram page. Also Wentworth Miller was confirmed to make future appearances as Snart. It was also established earlier in the season that only Kendra could kill Vandal, that's why Carter couldn't kill him at the beginning of the season, so since Kendra was in the future, they needed to kill him in the future first.

The version of Rex Tyler that I know, not sure whether the show is going for it, is :- He created a drug that gave him superhuman strength, reflexes, and healing -- but only for an hour at a time, hence he is referred to as hourman. I would be interested to see how his powers help the team in season 2. Plus I love the actor, he is awesome in Suits.

ok you have to watch the episode carefully because they explain why 3 meteorites were needed and why they could kill savage if all three were going off. Savage basically goes through time and his future self went back to see his past self kind of how Jay went and got his time remnant to help him same theory. Also transmutation is a real thing it may not be like oh I'm going to turn this table into salt kind of thing but we have nuclear transmutation which is done artificially by particle accelerators we have or tokamak reactors. but yes alchemy paved the way for transmutation which is a part of science lol.

Whilst the show stumbled in certain places during it's first season, for the most part "Legends" was a fun, fast paced, enjoyable ride. What consistently impressed me throughout the season were the action scenes involving the whole team. These sequences were well shot and thrilling to watch. The production qualities were high and the chemistry between the series regulars was solid. Moving forward, the shows producers took notes and promptly got rid of the Hawks. It was obvious that they were the weak link in the series and so writing them out was a smart and logical move so the door is open for new arrivals to join the team Hopefully the producers and the writing staff learn from the errors made this past year and ensure that season two is more efficient and streamlined in it's storylines and ongoing plot threads. Final Grade for Season One: *B*

Maybe that soldier's friend found the helmet and sent it home to the wife and son. Maybe the son kept the helmet as memorabilia (not looking inside it or altering it because it was too revered) and maybe when that son grew old, he met Rip and Rip did something wonderful like saving his life or something. Maybe as a gesture of gratitude, the old man gave Rip the helmet.

I think Captain Cold might not actually be dead. I think he just got transported back/forwards in time. In the vision of Ray 'dying' in the oculous he looked like his skin was peeling, kinda like Barry in s2e20 and everyone thought he was dead but really he had just been transported. And if Leonard took Ray's place that would've happened to him. So I think he just got transported some place, well, at least, I hope ;P

The Justice Society of America is the precursor to the Justice League. The thing is that it originally had silver era versions of some of the characters that we're already familiar with. There is the silver era Atom (as opposed to Ray's golden era), Black Canary (perhaps a way to get Laurel back?) and many others. Here is the question: If this universe doesn't have Superman (established in the Supergirl/Flash crossover), how could the Justice Society/League be the entity that we are familiar with?

TV show can't use JLA so they are using JSA. Wildcat, Hawkman, Dr. Fate, Dinah (the orginal black canary, Laurel's mother), Jay Garrick, and the original Mr. Terrific (Curtis's character) were all members of the JSA. Hourman created a potion that gives him superpowers for one hour at a time. The kid that Mick killed just murdered a security guard. Not seeing the problem...

This universe seems odd with the past self slaughter not killing the present day people. While killing the cop guy Iris dated DID kill Eobard (without erasing the whole time he was with Team Flash from history for some reason), but Zoom killing his past self didn't erase future Hunter. So it makes sense that killing the young Vandal Savage might not of actually killed the others

Basically, Zoom somehow managed to make it to another timeline (an E2 parallel timeline that was split off too far away from the original to change anything) and take his other self back with him. If he killed the alternate-timeline Zolomon, nothing would happen to E2 Zoom. Remember, speedsters can take people with them through the Speed Force.

Hour Man from what I know is a guy who takes a pill and that pill gives him powers like SuperMan but only for a hour. The Justice Society is a team with the fallowing: Hour Man, Jay Garrick, PowerGirl, StarGirl, HawkMan, Dr Fate and many more. Hopes this helped:) I agree with your statement that its not the best show ever. It good, but none of it makes since, however I do love the characters.
