The dragonborn was originally one of the casualties before Allura's party sealed Thordak aaway. I've no idea if she was originally red, but what's interesting is: a red dragonborn resented Allura and Kima being together, felt entitled to the spotlight and was miffed whenever anyone else got it, and failed to properly communicate with their friends... before getting killed by Vorugal. Sound familiar? I didn't catch it until I saw it on tumblr. She's substituting for Tiberius.

this angers me, to make something like this indicates to me there still is animosity about this, it's been almost 10 years, are we still sore about Orion to the point where we have to have a dig at the character like this?

When I saw Tiberius in the first VM comic, I thought there had been some some sort of reconciliation... until Tibs left the party at the start of the second comic, probably at his own demand. I've paid no attention to the man, but I assume he hasn't become a better person since back then. I'd guess there was a bitter rant about the animated show, and this was the result.

Awesome to hear you guys've both played Ten Candles! I'm running my first session of it tomorrow as a belated Halloween one-shot for some friends. It seems like such an incredible game and spooky season is the perfect excuse to bust it out.

Yeah... "Vexations" is aptly named. The state of being annoyed, frustrated, or worried. This entire episode was about relationships and the complications that can manifest, especially within a found family and how others can be scorned and grow bitter and resentful. And in Dohla's case, vengeful. Will things get better? You'll see.

remember that there is a third wheel in the Vax-Keyleth relationship who gave him the vision (confirmed by Travis). someone should make that "I consent" meme with them - Vax "I consent!" Keyleth "I consent!" Matron of Ravens: Isn't there someone you forgot to ask? Yeah, they hired Stephanie Beatriz back in season 1, when Kima had maybe 3 lines. That was right around when she was doing Encanto too. More Kima and Allura is always a good thing.

There have been mentions of a 5 season plan, but they only recently got greenlit for a forth season. With Mighty Nein coming out probably next year, O am glad they are gaining more fans through the animated series. I'm sure season 4 of Vox will do well to get a 5th confirmation, then they can complete the story

I love hearing people pick up GMing! Paula, you hit on one of the things I dislike about PF2. The thing that made me bounce off it was wanting to string a trip line across a hallway and couldn't because I didn't have the right feat. That, and Assurance never assured anything.

Ten Candles is fantastic! It's the perfect game for Halloween night, after the sun goes down and the trick-or-treaters stop coming around. Do you think it would work for KZbin, or would the lack of lighting make it infeasible?

There is an entire season of 10 Candles games on the channel HyperRPG, along with some one shots. Paula talking about playing it with the Glass Cannon team may be hinting at the possibility of 10 Candles showing up on their channel. Not just because she played it with them, but also because the GCN merged with the Stream of Blood. And the SoB was planning on playing 10 Candles on their channel before the merge.

my longest run was more or less 3 days. Players had the "great" idea to rend a little vacation home for a long weekend, just to play. I was so thrilled as the GM and it was easy........so easy......

Pathfinder can be fun if everyone is on the same page. The problem I have with it is that there is so many extra and supplemental material that wasn't play tested with other compatible books, so you end up with min/max players coming up with insane stats and so many extra attacks, and abilities. While others just want to create a fun character and tell stories. This applies to most TTTPGs but from my many years of experience the "Crunch Gap" becomes so wide that one or two characters feel like super heroes and the rest are just lackeys. If everyone min/max their characters so that the whole party become the Avengers, the GM then needs to keep up and try extra hard to balance the encounter. Just my opinion though.

This is why DM/GM's need to put limits on what rules supplements the table will be using in Session Zero. That's of course if your group bothers to do a Session Zero, which may or not be worthwhile depending on how well your gaming group knows each other....

I've run 10 Candles once, my friends weren't really into it, sadly. I do own Alice is Missing and have been wanting to play that for AGES. Whats you pals' opinion on it? Is it replayable? I've not heard many people about it, so it was interesting hearing you mention those 2 games in the same sentence. Would really love some insight on it :D (no spoilers obviously :P )

Did you play 10 Candles as written? Personally, I take whatever horror storyline I find appealing and adapt it to the format. Highlights include a murder mystery, trapped in a building during a massive tornado, Jurassic Park, and my take on Horror Express. Perhaps try it again with your own concept. Borrow an idea from HyperRPG if that helps. As a side note, I would like to try Alice is Missing but I haven't had the opportunity so far. Good luck with that one. Hopefully it goes well. @@rdp16rulez I don't remember, I might have come up with the story, or picked up the story basics from somewhere. It was more that my players didn't really like the mechanics. (and I'm not really a seasoned DM at all, I don't really like doing DM work, I'm not too good with juggling all the moving parts and get easily overwhelmed by it. I do occasional One Shots though). We tried it for a Halloween night a bunch of years ago. I had seen a few play throughs of it, and really liked it. Convinced the rest to give it a try. Thanks though! :) I'm currently working on a Call of Cthulhu one shot for my DnD group. I'm writing my own story, and am both excited and terrified to run it :P (but hopefully not as terrified as they are gonna be!)

@denniswijker7162 That's awesome! I've only run CoC once, but it was with the pre-written scenario about a haunted house. I used the tiles and events from Betrayal at the House on a Hill to stretch out the story. My players had a blast.

i think what the twins feel is understandable, not healthy, but when you have a mother kill when you where away with a father that never show you any kind of love it make sence that they create this barriers so the are not being heart. and they a are both being cowards in a way but thats what they have being doing all their lives to survive, run away from pain. You have to remember Vax in the first season literaly confess to Keyleth and she wasnt ready so she turn him down, the last season hi literally have to create a contract with the goddess of death so that his only family wont die and know the moment he is ok with the girl he loves the Matron show him how much she will suffer when she lost him, now i agree that he is being an asshole by taking away her ability to chose in this situation, but again at this point his martir complex is on the roof. In a way Vex isnt too diferent, she probably is least self sacrificing that her brother, she is ok at the very least with something psicycal, but when it comes to real emotion her walls are probably even taller that the ones from Vax. Also i think is a question of the partners, Keyleth is still very naive in regards of love and althoug i love that she was capable of fight back Vax stupidity, she isnt mature enougth to navegate the situation like Percy, who i was very proud in the moment just acept tha the felling was there Vex just need time to get where he is.

Honestly, I love how women get why Keyleth is annoyed. Male reactors seem to think she's being dramatic...as if they wouldn't be only 100X more petulant if a woman turned them down "for their own good" and then tried to be kind to them!
