Can't wait to try this out! Does it work with the Quadplay and have button configurations been updated for the 4 player games? I wasn't able to test and see if all the games had this issue previously but I know Rampage World Tour was one of them, meaning if a game had 3 buttons, the quadplay didn't reprogram the "c" button to the x or y button for player 3 or 4? Thanks for the all hard work that went into this new build!

I downloaded the Core version and ran the conversion for 1.1 / 1.2. When I mount the USB drive and go to BYOG, I get three "scripter" files but when I try to run any of them it just says "loading" and immediately goes back to the same "scripter" screen. Any idea what could have gone wrong and how to fix it?

I gave up already. I tried OneSauce Version 2 as the people who maintained the software told me I should use that instead to avoid that kind of issue. Well, I had the exact same issue. OneSauce was supposed to be more reliable than CoinOpps and it's actually garbage. I hooked up my raspberry pie, via HDMI, with Retropie and it's what I am using now. Much better interface, just adding games now. F*ck OneSauce BS.

you can factory reset your Alu and then update firmware to 5.68

I got the base system going fine. Then I tried downloading more packs. Just like you had. The dreamcast..etc. However none of the controls are working correctly. Some of the games arent working. What did I do wrong?

I would assume it will be delivered with the most recent firmware on it, which is 5.71 as far as I know. So will this all work on that version as well or is there a way to downgrade the systems firmware accordingly? Many thanks for your help.

This didn't work for me. On an ALU 1.1 running 5.70 with a 256Gb NTFS flash; sauce base + 1.1, 1.2 conversion. When launching "scripter" from the cab's menu, it returns an "Error RP001: The game is not running properly. You can keep waiting or press this button to go back to menu and launch it again." Tried multiple times and same results - Ideas?

hi, great video. cant thank you and others enough for the work. im new to all this. i have a legends ultimate mini. wondering if it will work with that? likewise the pinball as well. i see it lists the other games, but not these. not sure im saying it correctly, im talking about the legends mini (the stand up, step down from the larger one) like wise the regular pinball. i followed everything correctly and it did work on the ultimate mini. but, it wont allow the menu to pop up. where you say to hold down the player 1 button. all it does is causes a blue light to flash by the power button. so i cant adjust things. and i added games to it as well. and the n64 games are so darn "gurgly" haha if thats a word. horrible to play. i understand this machince isnt going to play everything and anything. i dont expect it to. but was hoping to play a few n64 and playstation games. also seems like controls are wacky on games ive played. one game, i pushed the joystick to the left and a lil game menu popped up. haha. ugh. well, thank you again. if you have any ideas, i appreciate the help. oh, i tried the same usb on my pinball. and it showed up, but never got going. ok, ill stop now. :)

hi, again. haha was just looking in again. watching the video over and over. i just dont get it. id be having an absolute blast if i could get this retroarch menu working. so i could change things. its goofy, i mean it works on my legends ultimate mini stand up machine. but the button configurations on games are wacky. in fact i cant even play the playstation pinball games, because the left physical button controls the games right flipper, and right physical button does the games left flipper. ahhhhhhh!!!!!! hahaha its just my luck. oh, and i still cant get it to work on the legends pinball. it shows up on the "add on" screen. but click on it, and doesnt ever complete it. i appreciate any help. i normally dont like to ask for help, but this is driving me nuts.

Yes. I downloaded everything individually. Each zip has a folder with the console/roms in its own folder. Ex. I deleted several Dreamcast games

if you have a 1.1 and above and downgrade your firmware it will brick the machine. Only 1.0 can be downgraded

Can anyone tell me how I can add a bezel for the awesome sauce. I added super mario 2 japan. But now I'm creating the bezel in the nes folder label bezel. I see two files cfg and the art pic. I see how it shows in note how it's setup. And I see the picture 1280X720 size. I do it in png transparent. I have done it in coinopsx. But I can't seem to do it in the awesome sauce. Any help?

when you say it takes some time to launch the first time, how long are we talking? like 30 seconds, minutes?

Depends on USB stick speed. Usually, it's about 30 seconds or so. Only the first time, after that, it's usually instant.

i sure am. i posted a comment on here yesterday about that same thing. im wondering if this works on the alu mini. or just the "full size" stand up game. my atgames pinball wouldnt work it either. it showed up in the location, but never would goto the games. so i dont know.

I finally got it work again after the update. I have it running on the ALU, ALU mini, gamer mini, and legends gamer pro. I did a separate usb setup for vertical games only. Runs great on the ALU mini and gamer mini on my tv. Just needed to reformat the drive again and add the games again. Delete the sauce folder might help.

Hi, It been a week now and I did several download for full version 794.2G it won’t download complete? I used a lot of different ways to download it and it download up to 95.27 % and stop. I am not sure I am the only person having this problem.

I’m curious about this too. You can delete the game files in the folders on your computer and it won’t show those games when you boot it . Haven’t tried adding games though

Hi, I'm pretty new to this. I was able to get this running but I'm noticing that most of the bigger games like DOA2, Soul Caliber, Hydro Thunder . . . or any racing game are running extremely slow or have graphical and sound clipping issues. Are there any pointers for settings to get these games to run more smoothly? Hydro Thunder for example won't boot at all (just goes to a black screen). Also, are there any marquees available for One Sauce for the BitLCD like there is for CoinOpsX?

The secret is to not use these underpowered devices, if you want those games to work you need a decent processor and memory.
