I was imagining a different one. A small goblin-looking person sleeping at the table with a mug of coffee with bread sitting in it in his hand. He got up earlier than everyone else to make the coffee like always, and fell asleep after sticking a bit of bread into his cup. It’s become so much of a habit that he started calling it coffee porridge. He’s clearly been undereating as they were running out of rations, as if he would rather starve than actually run out. He has each brew’s worth of coffee obsessively measured out and counted before time, and has a board displaying how many they have left. He’s a rogue.
