The end of game 1 was a perfect showcase of LVD's clear-headed play style. He recognized a dangerous edge-case, reasoned through the pros and cons of an expensive play-around, and decided correctly to go for it. Not many players would have even seen the threat in the first place.

i WANT rakdos sac or jund reanimator to be the best deck in the format... i HOPE arcane bombardment becomes mythic top 20 viable... but what i am committed to, if I'm going to play ranked arena at all, is winning... because winning a lot means i like a deck and I'm having fun. that means one strictly overpowered deck in one format all the way to the top. I've seen a few genuinely OP decks before, and every single (ethical, non-oops-all-counterspells) one i can remember either got more, bigger dudes out faster, and/or reliably took more winrate increasing game actions per turn, including ramping mana. it's nearly been 48 hours since mkm launch so i can confidently say i've evaluated the majority of yt creators and the decks they've put forward in the format. to me, this deck looks like something special that any mid-tier grinder could hit top 10 mythic with. thank you for your trickle down deckonomics. we needed this. -anarki p.s. I'm curious how you will brew Warleader's Call because it looks like it has OP potential but in the back of my head I'm thinking mardu .... or splashed into naya. fwiw if i ever hit mtga #1 with a deck of yours i requested, I'll gift 100 subs or equivalent. any format, even alchemy. appreciate you!

@justyoutubin9 ай бұрын

Good deck. Could you show the deck stats at the end of each video?
@LegenVD9 ай бұрын
I always recommend to wait a week or so after a video is posted so Untapped has time to gather more data on the deck. That way you’ll get a much bigger sample size and a more honest representation of a deck. Whatever data I gather is going to pale in comparison and will be skewed by lots of factors such as play/draw and the surprise factor of an unknown deck which wears off after a few days. That’s why you won’t see me claim any outlandish win rates in my video titles, an individual will rarely play enough games for those numbers to be statistically accurate. But I’m always happy to give my opinion on a deck at the end of each video.
@NickTemperistic9 ай бұрын
18:24 So basically if the land that you targeted didn't tap you would've been able to activate Garden's 2nd ability creating that extra mana? I thought the game is suppose to show you which lands are going to be tapped before you play the card? Also what happens if you don't solve the case in the next turn? Does the game let you solve it once you meet the requirement or does it have to be done by next turn?
@LegenVD9 ай бұрын
Indeed, often Auras that enchant lands to increase your mana will explicitly ask which lands to tap to avoid wasting any mana. That's clearly not how they currently programmed Buried in the Garden. You can solve a case at any time and then it will be solved end of turn. Doesn't need to happen right away.

@Bl4ckDr4co9 ай бұрын
He's running 28 lands so that's not an issue. The problem with Glimpse the core is that you have to spend mana to do it, this deck wants to use the mana proactively to get out enchantments early which either let it play more lands, draw, or put lands into hand.

@@LegenVD - yes, there have always been quite a few ads on your videos. I guess what has changed is the length (5-10 seconds before skip to 20-35 seconds before skip). It effectively makes the ads 2-3x more than they used to be. After watching a 3 minute game, a 30 second ad feels excessive. I find this annoying and I'm just going to watch other content with fewer ads. If you say this is out of your control, I believe you. This feedback is only my experience with your content.
