We're diving into creating skin-tight leggings patterns using stretchable knit fabric. I’ll show you drafting leggings patterns that are not only perfect for yoga sessions and gym workouts but have also seamlessly transitioned into everyday wear. Leggings have become an essential in modern wardrobes due to their unparalleled comfort and versatility. However, the key lies in understanding the fabric's stretchability, which can significantly impact the fit.
In this episode, I make basic leggings patterns with a -2” ease. Keep in mind that this ease can be customized to suit the characteristics of your chosen fabric. Finding that sweet spot for your fabric is crucial to achieve the perfect silhouette. The leggings have yoke line to make the shape from the waist to the hip without darts. And there will be no out seam, but only inseam.
