As an introvert I find that place overwhelming having all that attention from the locals. I like how confident you are, I travel a lot but have almost zero interactions with people.

In my case being extroverted was a progress. When I traveled in 2017 I think I also kinda had 0 interactions with locals. And in around 2019/20 it changed more and more and I just started to talk and joke around. Also when I started to film with my Gopro helped a lot to get more interactions with locals. They tend to talk to you sometimes cause they are aware that you're a vlogger or something. I can recommend you to also make videos (can be just for fun) and you will definitely realize how you become more and more confident. And these conversations will make you happy as well 😊

I was thinking exactly the same, i remeber visiting the ben thanh marked in in Ho chin minh, vietnam. I wanted to walk and look around and enjoy the things and maybe buy one or to things. But how aggressiv they approach someone made me leave after 10 minutes. Being a introvert is difficult haha

The locals say that you are not supposed to be giving those kids money. It promotes them not going to school and then they try to make that as a job, instead of going to school and bettering their lives. If you are going to give anything, you give them food.

Wild Carlos is a funny kind of guy, nice video with intelligence while reading the minds of street vendors who tell customer to give them a price, hoping that the customer will be stupid enough to say a HIGHER price than they would offer. Wild Carlos told the vendor 15, and he looked STUNNED with a famous look as to say "You out smarted me you rascal". Then he says 100. The same here in Thailand with women when they say to me "How Much You Give me", and I say 300 baht, and they "OK 500, I go"... heh heh heh.. Some newbies will say 1000 like an idiot..

I'm sure the governor is fat and has plenty of food...they are talking about it right now...

That was only Sambal Ijo and Sambal Merah, I think 🤗 The warung is located in Legian. Just I forgot the name of the warung. But if you ask the people around this street where I filmed this vlog, they will know. It's more or less on main Legisn Street (at Sky Garden) where you turn to a smaller street

True! That was a good trick. And I guess some (or many) foreigners are ashamed bidding a low price so they start with a medium price (or they tell the seller their wish-price). That's why I gave the seller a really low price to have a higher chance to get a good price in the end. On the other hand it always feels a bit weird bidding super low. But yeah...in the end I gave away all the items that I bought to some locals. So it was still a win-win I would say...

The majority in Bali is hindu and all of them are extremely open when it comes to dress codes. Female Indonesian tourists from other muslim islands also often dress super casual or other ppl might call it sexy. There was only two ppl that I found who gave a quality massage. One guy who did deep tissue and he then left giving massage and went into giving hair cuts and the other lady was in Ubud. Other than that I only had my jewelry stolen when I received a massage.

The government is doing very little to solve the problem. Heres what alot of people don't know. Most wealthy countries we know today like UK, USA, and Germany etc also started off very poor. But some where along that journey their governments and private sectors came up with implemented policies that reduced poverty to what we know today. It took decades to do it. Are poor countries copying those strategies from richer countries? Few are. Many don't. And the result is what we see today.
