You need to glue the legs to the back torso piece before gluing on the front. I missed this on mine (I'm used to gluing torsos together, then adding legs), but luckily plastic cement takes a while to dry, so I managed to fix it. I haven't checked the website for assembly instructions yet. Hopefully they're useful.

Saran Wrap around those flight stands when you prime is definitely the way to go! Easy to take off after priming. Tape was always more hassle than I cared for

4:11- It definitely looked simple…… but unless I was the only one, it definitely wasn’t that “simple”!?! For some odd reason his legs went together fine. But when you put the lower half into the spot it’s supposed to go it was very loose and didn’t want to sit in there in a “correct way”!?! I had to re do that part over 4 times and each time it kept looking like it was a surfer at a weird angle falling backwards off his board! I eventually got it to a “exceptional position”…… but I still don’t like how he looks any time I pull him out for battle! Which is unfortunate!

Question: With the DRK-1 could you run multiple units of them as long as you have a Darth Maul? I can’t find anything that says you can’t or if there is an errata for it.

7:40- So I still get confused with his card and get into a lot of disagreements over his card! Well, that and I get very annoyed when I look at some of the newer characters and then back at him and I realize how weird they made him!!! So 1st off, does he get 2 attack actions? Because I originally thought he would…… but technically it doesn’t say that! And according to the rules “unless the card says extra attack action” you don’t get it!?! But any time I’ve played against Maul I have been told he “can” attack twice! And any time I’ve played with Maul I’ve been told “no, he can’t attack twice”!?! Sometimes from different people and sometimes from the same person, but many months in between! See my issue?!? And the 2nd issue I’ll put in another comment because this is already really long!

WARNING: Long comment! And honestly, unless you are someone that has the ability or are in contact with someone that could change up things for this game in AMG, then you might as well skip this! It’s just me wondering why some weaker characters are somehow stronger than way better characters!?! 7:40- “Part 2”: The 2nd issue is how weak his attack is!!! Yes, you may see 8 dice for his attack. But I see 4 really good dice and 4 crap dice! And I also get that some people see the black dice as mid….. but I also don’t agree with that either. Yes, I know it’s technically in the middle of the red and white dice! But the black dice are way closer to red then they are to white! If I had to put it in percentages I would say the red are around 85-90%! While the white are 10-15%! Now if the black were around 50% then it would definitely be “in the middle”!?! But I feel like the black are more like 60-65%!!! Anyways, I completely got off track! I just find it crazy how he’s way stronger than a lot of other characters that have way more/way better dice for attacks! But in the same breath, there are characters that are better and stronger than him that have even less then he does!?! And Maul doesn’t even surge for anything!?! I would say this Maul’s card is definitely better in many ways than the Lord Maul one……. But once again, once you start comparing it against other characters that are “beneath him” (at least in my opinion) in strength and speed, they are somehow better in one way or another than him?!? And yes, there are add ons that make him better. And yes, there are command cards that also make him better, but since those cost more and aren’t right off the bat I don’t count that! Plus a lot of them cost points! Now I’m not just bashing FFG or AMG for this (even though it might sound like I am) and in FFG’s defense, they didn’t know how deep they were going to be able to go with this game in the beginning! And there’s really not much AMG can do about it right now?!? But a lot of the characters need to be fixed to how strong they really are against other characters! And since AMG is planning on coming out with all the original models and characters but in hard plastic, that would be the perfect time to fix all the cards!!! Obviously not every character/unit needs higher health. And not every character/unit needs more/better dice for their attacks, but a lot do!!! And not just for the baddies! The good guys need some fixing also! Either way, it’s kind of insulting when this game tries to tell us all that Ventress is better and stronger than Darth Maul!?! Come on…….. who believes that?!?
