Wow! Really LOVE THE OPENER! I unfortunately only got to see Jerry Band one time, in Charlotte, NC. Courtesy of a beautiful lady I went to high school with by the name of Michelle. She lived in Atlanta at the time & I was in South Carolina helping my parents build a house. She showed up the day before & we went to a beautiful place in the mountains of SC where I knew of a waterfall. We called it Rainbow Falls cuz it constantly had a rainbow from the mist shining in the sun. Unfortunately Michelle was taking antibiotics & wasn't supposed to be in the sun but didn't realize it at the time. And we left that night & got a hotel in Charlotte so we wouldn't have a long drive to the show. But when we woke up she had hives from being in the sunshine too much. Only trouble was she didn't realize that was why she had hives. At first she thought that she had gotten some kind of bugs at the waterfall. But me & my brother had both been there & neither of us had hives. I was VERY RELEAVED after she figured it out! Cuz as long as she stayed out of the sunshine, then she would be fine & the hives would go away. A little too much drama for the morning but we were able to put it behind us & have a GREAT SHOW! I got to see The Dead about 70x altogether. But still wish I had seen JGB a lot more than just once!

The setlist above is what I believe to be the correct setlist for the Late show." Shriver was a pioneer in many things, including trying to sort out the mess of the tapes with this date. The setlist on this tape matches the TJS setlist until the "alleged" encore)

I love this show. And I love your channel. And I love this music. Any image of Legion of Mary without Merl is a disgrace. Please consider giving a different image. Garcia followed Merl in Legion. For me, that's what makes this band and this music so special. If there were a book about what Merl transmitted to Jerry, you bet yer arse I'd read it with wide eyes. Much love.
