The box looks like a great addition for variety in your rebel force. The best upgrade is the dlt20a as critical 1 is huge, it makes the unit a lot more versatile as can do damage to armoured targets and targets in cover.

They come with the extra guns, that way u can model them with the rebel trooper a280 and run these 4 as a regular rebeltrooper squad

I love Star Wars aliens, great models by ffg. The DLT upgrade is definitely pretty strong but I also like this new card offensive push, cool card for gameplay.

I totally think they should make special boxes that include alternate aliens. These could be called Rebel Trooper box 1, 2, 3 each including different minis maybe different poses. I wouldn't care if they all included the same upgrade cards. I think it would still be great. Although balancing that for the imperials would be hard. They could have alternate poses or gear or stuff maybe? Smashed helmet maybe?

I'm just not sure I'll get this as it's a bit pricey for an upgrade and specialist I maybe might use once in a blue moon. A bit more depth might convince me, but what's the point when I can get a full corps unit for about the same price?

I'm curious about these guys. To me it seems that these upgrades give you ways to outfit the rebel troopers that push them into being more like commandos or more like pathfinders. Being that you're required to take 3 corps units, do you feel like more players are going to adopt a heavily upgraded trooper unit over the spec ops options?

You ignore being “suppressed”, so you won’t lose an action. You still can panic, so be careful!

As a Rebel player I'd honestly like that specialist to get a free dodge token. I'm often having to choose between aiming, moving, and shooting and often don't get to use the main perk of Rebel troopers, just recycling that token.

Not everyone in legion is right handed. The rebel trooper unit leader is actually left handed and one of the pathfinder troopers is also left handed
