I can’t fathom why people feel that life is complete ONLY if they get married. What the heck is that all about? You can tell when you’re dating that your ‘woman’ is really a little girl wanting to be taken care of by ‘daddy.’ If you ‘wake up’ and realize that you’re there for the romp in the hay and to pay……and pay……and pay for most things, you HAVE to be smart enough to say that marriage is not a step you need to take. Marriage is not a Requirement; it’s a choice. Living by yourself and dating without moving in together is a good life. You come and go as you please. You’re not responsible for another person or accountable to another person. When that person wants to tell you how to fold your laundry or clean the toilet, or buy your groceries or what to wear, you will NEVER be happy. Enjoy the opportunity to work hard, make your money, save what you can, spend time with friends, occasionally date. There is no REQUIREMENT to lock yourself into marriage. People talk about ‘being lonely,’ but that isn’t necessarily a reality. I live alone and I couldn’t be happier. I move like a leaf on the wind, manage my successful career, spend time with friends and family…..and embrace happiness.

That’s what I’d aim for, why and what’s the point of getting with a women if you’re not in the position of power, you’ll set your life for disaster if you marry a women well off because her money is hers and your money and hers as well lol… also I could care less how people view me, it’s a win win for us.

Together 17 years, married 12 years, no kids. Was NY first love and I was a virgin when we meant. We were never healthy, and unworkable. I ultimately filed. It cost me a ton of money (I work and am a high earner, she didn't work during the marriage). I can always make more money (and am). I have a steady g/f, but will never remarry and I no longer make decisions against my own self interests. I'm in the top 3-5% for the USA and there is no point in getting married or even cohabitation. I'm great on my own, I enjoy and love the g/f, but if things go sidewise I know I can replace her. I think that's the new normal. I'm committed, loving, and caring. But if we aren't workable, bounce and move on it. She's not one in a million, she's one of a million. Respect and love have to be earned, if she's workable I do the same.

I've been watching this channel and other men's channels for months. I'm a woman, just here to learn what's going on between men and women these days. It seems to me that women have devolved to the place where they all feel they are a 10, and they want the best men. Even average or below women talk like this in their videos. If an average woman ends up with an average man, she resents him for being average and thinks she "deserves" a better man. Thing is, she probably just hates herself for not being good enough for the man she wants.

Studies are showing that women on hormonal birth control have smaller brains, it severely messes up their oxytocin production, the 'love' hormone, add anti depressant to thsi which many women consume. What modernity is doing to women is almost criminal, men are just another victim.

Family courts are poisonous casinos rigged against you as a man. I do not recommend signing a contract that encourages the other party and rewards them heavily for breaching it. Prenups or binding financial agreements do not hold up in court. Allegations (without evidence) of family or domestic violence are taken as fact, you are guilty and unable to ever prove yourself innocent. The wests laws either need to change drastically or soon noone will bother with women other than to pay them like prostitutes or surrogates.

I'm 53. I have dated a bit, but my experience has been that I have much more peace and stability in this western world by staying single. I did marry once, to a totally incompatible woman back when I was 20, got divorced 5 years later, and was lucky to divorce amicably with no kids or alimony. I learned my lesson, and have remained single ever since. The Western female mindset is so self-serving, so toxic, so legally perilous, that I just don't see the use in getting married again. Even dating a woman long term, or allowing a woman to cohabitate can be twisted by a halfway capable lawyer into a way to seriously damage you financially and mentally. NOT WORTH IT. I'm moving to eastern Europe in January '25 for a year initially, so we'll see how that goes.

Dude I firmly believe in the past, this was one of the biggest reasons why fathers chose the husbands to their daughters, and it was socially unacceptable to fling or be a single mom (unless widowed). Sex before marriage was taboo... Back then men who had high status, physique or wealth, they were socially restricted on one woman (for the most part) and the average guy who had competence and was financilly stable? Might not be the best looking guy, but the father would figure hes a great pick for his daughter.

I am fortunate. I do not get lonely. I don't need a woman in my life to feel content. I don't work anymore, so I don't have work friends, but I can get gamer friends from playing an MMO if I want to by joining a guild. Even when I got out to bars or whereever with a friend or two, I some how end up walking around or watching dance floor by myself. I have done that all my life. At parties back in HS and college, I would work the room, mingle, and try to talk to everyone. In college, I knew all the hot girls, and the guys used to come to me to play matchmaker for them.

We enjoy each other and it doesn’t matter if we are sitting on the sofa watching tv or Traveling or enjoying the water on our boat. Having said all of that, I can completely understand the sentiments expressed by many in the comments. I’m not so sure I’d ever remarry. I can’t count the number of guys i know that have been cheated on and ended up living with their parents after divorces because they cannot afford child support and alimony plus they were all mentally wrecked and decimated emotionally from the betrayal. So I get it. I’m fortunate and thankful to have the wife I’ve had and thankful we didn’t divorce even though we came close multiple times.

She was great for 2 years but then that one started drama and problems. I’m still kind of seeing her but she moved out on me and has issues. Honestly… it’s best to stay completely single and just date. Release attachments or love or whatever from women and just have fun. The way society is in this era, they’re never gonna act right or be able to pair bond long term. They’re betrayers for the most part because they get away with it. Society is still very indoctrinated by disney and Hollywood about women being sugar & spice etc. They’re not. Women are very calculating and are out for themselves at your expense. Understand it and use that, without getting attached.

He said cohabitation is the same as marriage without the legal documentation, to back it up is right. Unfortunately, a lot of courts treat such relationships the same as a marriage when it comes to division of finances, property, and spousal maintenance (palimony). Cohabitation can put a man through the same hell as a marriage and divorce via the court system. After 25 years, my ex took everything and left me destitute and homeless when I became disabled at 53. After fighting the Social Security Administration for two and a half years, I finally got approved for disability and in order to achieve that, I had to get an attorney and go before a judge. Now I am the guy just barely getting by on social security disability benefits.

I work often, so from what I’ve seen, women need a lot of attention, and can’t take being by themselves a few days a week. I make effort to see them when I can, go out to dinner, stay at each others homes and go to work from their place, but they have a problem when I go home to rest. I refuse to cohabitate. Once you move in, they can just up and say “you have to leave”. You have to start over, get a place to live again. You’re better off just dating , saving money, and enjoying your life. Women always come and go. Having a peaceful place to come home to is priceless.
