They are alone or just pure work horses for their wife. My brother and brother in law are constantly working or doing things to keep their wife happy. The effort/reward ratio is so out of whack from my vantage point.. I just could not do what they do and be ok . At the same time that even though I love solitude - I’m not sure if living out the rest of my life without a mate is the best option for me either. The mgtow types need to be more honest about this

Pushing to get the laws changed seems like the only way forward if you don’t want to be alone.

It all comes down to diminishing returns. Older men generally date older women that provide less value as they age. If a man can't find a younger woman, its better to stay by themselves. The value just isn't there for a 40, 50 year old woman

I can’t fathom why people feel that life is complete ONLY if they get married. What the heck is that all about? You can tell when you’re dating that your ‘woman’ is really a little girl wanting to be taken care of by ‘daddy.’ If you ‘wake up’ and realize that you’re there for the romp in the hay and to pay……and pay……and pay for most things, you HAVE to be smart enough to say that marriage is not a step you need to take. Marriage is not a Requirement; it’s a choice. Living by yourself and dating without moving in together is a good life. You come and go as you please. You’re not responsible for another person or accountable to another person. When that person wants to tell you how to fold your laundry or clean the toilet, or buy your groceries or what to wear, you will NEVER be happy. Enjoy the opportunity to work hard, make your money, save what you can, spend time with friends, occasionally date. There is no REQUIREMENT to lock yourself into marriage. People talk about ‘being lonely,’ but that isn’t necessarily a reality. I live alone and I couldn’t be happier. I move like a leaf on the wind, manage my successful career, spend time with friends and family…..and embrace happiness.

Together 17 years, married 12 years, no kids. Was NY first love and I was a virgin when we meant. We were never healthy, and unworkable. I ultimately filed. It cost me a ton of money (I work and am a high earner, she didn't work during the marriage). I can always make more money (and am). I have a steady g/f, but will never remarry and I no longer make decisions against my own self interests. I'm in the top 3-5% for the USA and there is no point in getting married or even cohabitation. I'm great on my own, I enjoy and love the g/f, but if things go sidewise I know I can replace her. I think that's the new normal. I'm committed, loving, and caring. But if we aren't workable, bounce and move on it. She's not one in a million, she's one of a million. Respect and love have to be earned, if she's workable I do the same.

I've been watching this channel and other men's channels for months. I'm a woman, just here to learn what's going on between men and women these days. It seems to me that women have devolved to the place where they all feel they are a 10, and they want the best men. Even average or below women talk like this in their videos. If an average woman ends up with an average man, she resents him for being average and thinks she "deserves" a better man. Thing is, she probably just hates herself for not being good enough for the man she wants.

Studies are showing that women on hormonal birth control have smaller brains, it severely messes up their oxytocin production, the 'love' hormone, add anti depressant to thsi which many women consume. What modernity is doing to women is almost criminal, men are just another victim.

Family courts are poisonous casinos rigged against you as a man. I do not recommend signing a contract that encourages the other party and rewards them heavily for breaching it. Prenups or binding financial agreements do not hold up in court. Allegations (without evidence) of family or domestic violence are taken as fact, you are guilty and unable to ever prove yourself innocent. The wests laws either need to change drastically or soon noone will bother with women other than to pay them like prostitutes or surrogates.

I'm 53. I have dated a bit, but my experience has been that I have much more peace and stability in this western world by staying single. I did marry once, to a totally incompatible woman back when I was 20, got divorced 5 years later, and was lucky to divorce amicably with no kids or alimony. I learned my lesson, and have remained single ever since. The Western female mindset is so self-serving, so toxic, so legally perilous, that I just don't see the use in getting married again. Even dating a woman long term, or allowing a woman to cohabitate can be twisted by a halfway capable lawyer into a way to seriously damage you financially and mentally. NOT WORTH IT. I'm moving to eastern Europe in January '25 for a year initially, so we'll see how that goes.

Sex before marriage was taboo... Back then men who had high status, physique or wealth, they were socially restricted on one woman (for the most part) and the average guy who had competence and was financilly stable? Might not be the best looking guy, but the father would figure hes a great pick for his daughter.

We enjoy each other and it doesn’t matter if we are sitting on the sofa watching tv or Traveling or enjoying the water on our boat. Having said all of that, I can completely understand the sentiments expressed by many in the comments. I’m not so sure I’d ever remarry. I can’t count the number of guys i know that have been cheated on and ended up living with their parents after divorces because they cannot afford child support and alimony plus they were all mentally wrecked and decimated emotionally from the betrayal. So I get it. I’m fortunate and thankful to have the wife I’ve had and thankful we didn’t divorce even though we came close multiple times.

13:58 Yes! This relationship. Honestly, if you don’t build on commitment and vows to God (that you’re genuinely worried you’ll be punished for breaking), what’s the point? We’re a military family, and we could have divorced soooo many times. We haven’t because we believe in our vows and work hard to believe in each other.

You sound like Karyn Streitz from The Happy Wife School....she recognized she almost destroyed her marriage to a good man...and unlike a lot of women, was able to learn about herself and understand SHE was the reason for the unhappiness. If you haven't watched her yet, highly recommend her channel. I just wish more women watched her, unlike her subs that are 87% of men trying to understand and work things out.

23 years married and I raised two children to adulthood. She betrayed me brutally (non-sexual) and threw me away like trash. I replaced her with a woman 11 years younger and way hotter. She was great for 2 years but then that one started drama and problems. I’m still kind of seeing her but she moved out on me and has issues. Honestly… it’s best to stay completely single and just date. Release attachments or love or whatever from women and just have fun. The way society is in this era, they’re never gonna act right or be able to pair bond long term. They’re betrayers for the most part because they get away with it. Society is still very indoctrinated by disney and Hollywood about women being sugar & spice etc. They’re not. Women are very calculating and are out for themselves at your expense. Understand it and use that, without getting attached.

A lot of men go overseas with unrealistic expectations, often expecting the world to be a perfect escape from their problems, but they end up repeating the same patterns they had back home. It's easy to blame others or external circumstances, but real growth starts with taking responsibility for one's own choices and actions.

Never been married. Lived with three, engaged to the last one. My fiancé' laughed when I asked how she felt about a pre-nump. Got "divorced" from the engagement, dated some and then the 2008 financial crisis happened(lost tons in the market) pushed me into MGTOW by the act of God or happenstance. Didn't realize it till I found MGTOW on line. Recovered and I'm back way higher than I was before. I duck hunt and spend a lot of time outdoors. I just put a deposit down on a lab puppy. My life is good, no one telling me what to do or trying to steal half my shit. I can pay for my needs if need be.

Paying 1300 a month in child support and being taken advantage of by a one sided court and a vindictive woman is enough to flashbang you into staying to yourself and focusing on yourself.

Been an ICU, ER etc. RN since 2013. Working with women... after a few years, frankly I want nothing to do with them here in the US. I don't even care to sleep with them. Had plenty of that and even that is too much. Plotting the great escape. MAYBE where I'm going but I'm not going FOR that. Its not cope either. I got ALL the 6s including a sixth sense. They are nightmares. Petty, caddy, prideful, selfish, lazy, attention seeking, dumb (not a big deal) but yeah. No more room in my life. I spend 80 hrs a week around them and that leave zero tolerance even for sleeping with them.

Yep. Worked in a hospital where most of the nurses spoke Spanish. They didn’t know I could speak it as well. For six months I heard all the unspoken things women said aloud when men weren’t around or they thought men couldn’t hear. That was an education, believe me. I do not trust women at all after seeing what they’re really like in their own company.

This is why it's in a woman best interests to marry young with guys of her age. Not only will her fertility and youth allow her to have better kids and have the stamina to take care of them, but also: younger guys are not as experienced regarding female nature as older guys.

I lost $400K, including my pension, a condo, the dog, three jobs (after depression) after a divorce at 38 years young. I'm now 52 (in November) and not looking to get married ever again. 96% of my wealth is in crypto (utility tokens like XRP, XLM, XDC, ALGO, QNT, HBAR, FLR, ect... ), 2% in precious metals, 1% pre IPO companies (Ai and fintec), and 1% in cash to pay bills. I'll retire next year between the Caribbean and South America. I'll be able to travel once a fiscal quarter, and I'll leave my wealth to my nieces and nephews when I'm dead. I feel like I'll just date women, and I'm content with that. Rebuilding from scratch was the most grueling thing I've done in my life besides bodybuilding through my 20's and 40's. I would encourage guys to look outside the U.S. if you want companionship, and don't bring her back state side. You may end up losing everything like myself.

64 year old widower here. After a two year battle with cancer, my wife sadly passed away in February 2023. I've recently come to the conclusion, I'm no longer interested in a steady/long term relationship. When it comes to dating single women in my generation, the well has been well and truly poisoned with the same rotten modern mentality. I'll take a hard pass.

Because it's true.. If i could give my younger self advice or advice to another young man it would be 1) invest early in things like real estate and stock 2) focus on networking early and most importantly 3) don't waste your time with women period.

He said cohabitation is the same as marriage without the legal documentation, to back it up is right. Unfortunately, a lot of courts treat such relationships the same as a marriage when it comes to division of finances, property, and spousal maintenance (palimony). Cohabitation can put a man through the same hell as a marriage and divorce via the court system. After 25 years, my ex took everything and left me destitute and homeless when I became disabled at 53. After fighting the Social Security Administration for two and a half years, I finally got approved for disability and in order to achieve that, I had to get an attorney and go before a judge. Now I am the guy just barely getting by on social security disability benefits.

Idk.. but I have an aversion to drama now after my divorce. I’m an easy going guy. I have a good job, I take care of myself. Have my own place. I work often, so from what I’ve seen, women need a lot of attention, and can’t take being by themselves a few days a week. I make effort to see them when I can, go out to dinner, stay at each others homes and go to work from their place, but they have a problem when I go home to rest. I refuse to cohabitate. Once you move in, they can just up and say “you have to leave”. You have to start over, get a place to live again. You’re better off just dating , saving money, and enjoying your life. Women always come and go. Having a peaceful place to come home to is priceless.

I can answer this easily(older, divorced once) after years of learning to cook, clean, and I have enough pets/hobbies to stay busy. What would a woman offer me that I already have? All I can think is kids and family but the chances of finding a fertile woman not crazy is too slim of a chance for me...also I believe in God so the out of wedlock I just feel is wrong(doesn't need to be state approved but does need to be done in God's view)

I find stripping things back to basics is great for clarity. What is the fundamental purpose of a woman? To have kids. What is the fundamental purpose of marriage? To provide an environment for raising the kids. So yeah, outside of that... marriage is just kinda dumb, lol.

This weekend i will sleep in. Finally had a weekend off from work. No annoying "lets go out shopping" or "where are you taking me this weekend". Those words annoy the shit out of me, especially after a long week of grinding it at work. I honestly embrace my single life. No domestic parasite waiting on you to finance her lifestyle but refusing to cook for you. Yeah, no thank you, im really good 👍
