I love what Cambell and Holmes said about their drafting philosophy and drafting the actually player!! Not the position they play! Yes rbs generally dropped in value over the years so teams who do draft an rb in the first round analyst think they know everything when teams roll the dice however i see gibbs as the alvin kamora of detroit and hes gonna play slot, line up all over the place and with the addition of a very under rated rb in david montgomery and a top 7 offense line detroit has a 2 headed matchup nightmare potentially now with ben johnson and amon ra, jameson, sam laporta, reynolds, marvin jones and a very confident goff leading a top 5 offense without 60 percent of these new weapons at their disposal now!! So excited

Best in space player in the draft. Plus his vision and patience between the tackles is second to none! He is the most complete RB in the draft as well. What alot of ppl don't see is his toughness and physicality a lot of runs he's just fighting 3 or 4 guys for extra yards..thts why they took him so early imo..He's a unicorn!

Reminds me of CMC. Runs routes like a WR, and has quick feet, twitchy, and explosive as a runner. I think CMC is a better route runner but Gibbs is a little bit more explosive. Nonetheless, I’m excited as a lions fan
