Moving blocks with filters is actually super useful if you want to see/show the inner workings of a structure you are building. Especially for blocks that are occupied previously.

For anyone who gets the error “Can’t access block outside the world”, just fly up and between the original structure and where you’ll clone it so the chunks are in range.

Very informative, thank you. I've now learned that using this command somehow leads to an unavoidable melon monster. Like one of those unkillable snail situations. But thanks, trying to make a test build of something for survival on my creative build, and building large towers using /fill is TEDIOUS AS ALL HELL, especially all those little diagonal angles (for things like large "rounded" castle towers). So this helps immensely. And double-thanks for the warning on how to position the command before execution. I guarantee I'm bugger something up at least once.

I am pretty sure that Minecraft likes to favor the South East direction (x is pos, z is pos), and so when you clone a structure, it will take the lowest most spot that is the most North West of all the lowest points and duplicate the structure with the rest of the structure being South East of the the point you chose to duplicate the structure to. (I am probably wrong, I am not the best at commands)

It's far less lag indusive compared to making it move using a bunch of commands acting on a bunch of armor stands, but the latter makes smoother-looking vehicles

Yo, I actually didn't realize when you tabbed, it did the coords of the block you're looking at and I feel stupid lmao. I wondered why it was never the block I was standing on. when I am cloning I use a 2x3 set of a material in an open area to test the direction that things are going to go. But now I think your hint about the 3D axis target might be a better guide. Going to go experiment.

All you have to do to get floating gravity blocks is to slap down a repeating always active command block and enter /kill @e[type=falling_block]

@@waelsor6169 Yeah, 1) Summon an invisible armorstand at the center of the no-pvp zone. 2) Add a team 3) Disable Pvp for that team 4) Add all players in a distance of that armor stand to that team 5) remove all players out of the distance of the armor stand from the team Example: /summon armor_stand ~ ~ ~ {Invisible:1,Tags:["NoPvp"]} /team add NoPvp /team modify NoPvp friendlyFire false /execute at @e[tag=NoPvp] run team join @a[distance=..50] NoPvp /execute at @e[tag=NoPvp] run team leave @a[distance=!..50] 50 can be replaced with the radius of your no pvp zone. In this case it would be a circle of radius 50.

Thank you so much, I thought I was going to have to install Worldedit now that MCEdit doesn't work anymore! I didn't have any problems with connected blocks like you mentioned either, my walls all copied connected both to each other and to touching blocks. Is it possible to make this work for entities too? It wasn't a problem for the small things I tried it out on just now but I have some massive structures too, with tons of item frames and paintings inside, and I really don't want to have to go through and manually redo every single one.
