Joel Embid stops Joel Embid. Remember that 7 game series where everyone was coming down on Ben Simmons? Take a look at Embid's performances. He just had meniscus surgery. Ask anyone who's done rehab after meniscus surgery - no cardio for months and no trust in pushing off that knee. This is exactly what Embid's performace looked like the other night - no driving and bullying toward the basket, no lateral movement on defense, no fighting for rebounds. The other night was an elimination game...how did Maxey play? Three of the Knicks have hung more banners in the Wells Fargo Center than any of the sixers. It's not exactly an away game for them.

Yes I do believe the Knicks will have a hard time scoring and so will Philly but Philly has multiple guys besides Embiid that can put up numbers like Maxey, Harris, Orbre, Hield. The Knicks defense is legit but Philadelphia has a little more to offer on the offensive end where they can squeak by for a win in close games against the Knicks down the stretch.
