Parents got me this for christmas. Im 27. Brought back a lot of memories from my childhood playing with legos. Im also a very big adidas fan so it hit the mark every way. Bought 5 sets myself since christmas. 3 modulars, home alone and haunted house. Cant wait to start building them after i finish renovating my appartment and maybe have a big lego city one day.

It's awesome that they decided to include mirrored pieces for a left sneaker! I couldn't help but notice that it seems like LEGO likes to suggest buying the same set twice with the 18+ sets. Like buying a second shoe to have a pair or buying a second Pyramid of Giza to merge the halves (with a little built-in connector) and frankly, it's quite the clever marketing strategy, plus I'm sure fans love it when they include these sorts of additional details!

When I first saw this at the store I regularly visit, I wondered why LEGO would choose create a shoe model. I still wonder why, honestly. But anyway, I think it's a cool idea that they included the extra pieces to build a left shoe model with the right shoe model you get in the box. That gives you the option to have a complete pair of shoes if you want that. I wonder if LEGO in the future would choose to create more shoe models like the NIKE Air Jordans that were popular in the 90's for example.

I just finished building this and put it in my room to display, and I would give it a 10/10. Looks fantastic and is really fun to build. Also when I got it in the Lego shop, they actually stacked the boxes up like it was an actual shoe shop. 100% would recommend!

It's not my thing, I'm not into it. I suspect Tiago's right, that it's aimed at sneaker fans. I do appreciate they put in the bricks to make a mirror version; I thought that was really smart. I'd love to see more of that. A good exsmple is the green & yellow bus they released a while back - we drive on the opposite side of the road here, so I mirrored all the doors, but now they open wrong. Would love to see more mirroring options in sets 🙂👍

I have the same problem with a couple of camper sets, the door is on the wrong side for N.America. I still built it to reflect N.America, although it’s not as smooth a look as the way they intended it. So yes agree more mirrored versions needed. Cheers 🍻

I'm a sneakerhead and own Adidas and a pair of Jordan 1s (both are expensive shoes) and here's my take The shoes look bulky, they could have made it longer. But that is not the problem, in fact, I don't even care about it. It's just that they could have made it an even thousand pcs by removing a few layers of the three layer packaging and added another shoe. But the box is beautiful and very easy to open and makes the rating a bit higher. Overall rating 7/10 Thanks for reading the whole thing :)

They did a pair of Adidas x Lego wearable shoes too they have plates on the side of the shoe where you can connect Lego pieces to design /colour your own Adidas logo on them.

When I went into the Lego Store to get my ? Block set, I saw these, and the box did fool me. It really is an awesome box design, and I hope that Lego will do more of these fully committed box designs in the future. Maybe a freeze dried ice cream sandwich in astronaut packaging? Or a bowl of mac and cheese? How about a Christmas Story leg lamp packed inside a wooden FRAGILE crate?

Putting a red brick inside the sole waiting for a foot to enter is straight up evil. Although I can imagine the reasons behind it, it's very disappointing to see that this set gets so many new printed elements, while more expensive sets get a higher percentage of stickers.

Yep its aimed at Adidas fans and Superstar (Shell Toe) for sure, i started wearing these back in my late teens when i got my job as a Amtico floor layer to protect our toes while on our knees all day, specialist job thats similar to a puzzle in some ways :) A great reminder and i still love this shoe and wear them today, i used to build lego as a kid but now at 40 i dont bother. I will be buying this however as its a constant reminder of my youth and party days and will look nice on my unit in the bedroom lol 👍

As a sneakerhead this is a really cool concept and ended up getting one. What Lego should do is partner with these sneaker brands and have these builds for some of the rare, hard to find sneakers. Would be perfect to build one to display rather than try to get the real thing (which you probably can't find and is too expensive)

This time the marketing guys have been clever: properly promoted to Sneaker fans, Lego could reach new markets. Box design is brilliant too. Probably Adidas will sell more of these in their shops than Lego themselves. Now please give me Moog Synths and Boss guitar pedals in Bricks as soon as possible. I recently looked into the sets Lego is about to release, is it just me, or did they push the prices really much higher? The Modern Treehouse of Minecraft ist twice the price as a crafting Box 3.0, but it's still a steal compared to the Amusement Park, the Parking Garage and Carwash or Avengers: Endgame Final Battle. Parents and kids will be disappointed and they will look for Alternatives. You can get 500 2x4 from Simba Blox for under 30 Euro (only Standard Colors), Stones are made in Europe and can compete with current quality of Lego.

I have this set in my house and I really think that picture’s and video’s don’t do the size justice. Me and my dad were shocked at how big it was as it looks more chunky then large in length, like you said it was a really enjoyable build and very good display set👍😀

I ordered one but the OSFA strategy didn't work, I've got kind of large feet, 11.5 or 12 and there was no way they could fit and trying to squeeze them on just destroyed the shoe so definitely do not purchase unless you're sure they'll fit. I also don't like that they sell them in singles, it would help people who have different size feet except that there is only one size available. To be frank it's a cool idea but I think they totally failed in execution, I think lego should stick to brick sets and leave athletic wear to the pros.
