It's a bummer that they didn't include a real radio circuitry. With the tech now, they can do it really small. The schematic is really simple. I dunno, perhaps regulated with other countries .

For the display value category, durability has to be part of it. I just put together the Milky Way, and although it is very pretty, man oh man is it fragile! I'm afraid to look at it wrong. There are A LOT of pieces that are being held by a single stud where if they fell off, I'd have a very hard time figuring out where it came from.

From the designing perspective and from old LEGO fan perspective this "Forestman" set doesn't make much sense. It doesn't capture spirit of the classic "Forestman" sets, nor add extra value and quality. "Bricklink designer program" doesn't make much sense as well due strictly limited editions.

Please bring back color themes and classy colored windshields and transparent pieces. That was peak Lego Space. Lego Space needs factions, we need more than just Lego City Space. Some of us older guys would like a full revival and continuation of new space factions. We need some bad guys, we need some lasers and neon antennae.

Need to add a parts list of bricks to get so know whatever there thier called for people who are Not NOT LEGO experts. ❤😊

Great video! I just finished the build. I got the set a few months after it came out and just didn't get around to building it. I avoided watching this video because I didn't want the build experience to be spoiled. While that was the right decision for me, I thought it was interesting that my reaction to the build was the same as yours. I've also been a Titanic fan since I was a kid (right after reading "A Night to Remember"). I think my favorite part was building the engines. It seemed to me that the designers left that step to nearly the end of the build. I'm glad they did. It really made for a strong finish. To me, the biggest disappointment was that the middle screw only had 3 blades. The real center propeller had four. In the video, you showed what you called a "generator". Yes, the instruction book talked about a generator on that page, but I believe that cylinder is actually supposed to be the steam turbine, which drove the middle screw.

Has anyone here noticed they put the piano in the garage? That is a huge cheat!

I'm putting this beast together now. Based on the art on the box, I knew what I was getting into - kind of - but my goodness, this things is pure chaos! It is fun to see just how "creative" the designer was in piece selection. I do wish they had added a little black piece in the middle for Sagittarius A*, though. That's easy enough to modify.

It is my first Technic set and I bought i specifically because it is space-themed! Space is one of my most favourite themes in LEGO and beyond. I am finding a couple of places where it is a little tricky to build, but enjoying the challenge of figuring things out. Thanks for a great review on a great set! I definitely agree - they should come up with more space-themed TECHINC sets. Cars are not really my thing 🤣
