Lego 71785 Jay's Titan Mech Alternate build

Alternate Build of 71785 Jay's Titan Mech. Using just the pieces from the original set, I removed the bulky shoulder canons, ponytail from the head and redesigned the upper portion of the mech to include more poseability and weapons!

Lego did a great job with them legs and i think they fit in well with your alt build. Also the hoses were a nice touch, make the mech feels like it has lats.

I’ve just built your Moc and I have to say it’s absolutely amazing. I highly recommend to anyone that wants to build it that they can, it’s incredibly stable, taller than the original, perfect for displays and so much more. @@markusweber3669 I’d say both, from what I’ve experienced no pieces fall off when you move it, it’s possibility is amazing so it’s great for display. It is a set that lego could easily approve since it’s solid and looks amazing. Since I have the Moc and the original they feel the same, the Moc is taller and uses I think 70 pieces less so you can do some stuff with the spare pieces. I hope this helps your decision to build this masterpiece 😁

Just finished building this, super cool! I really enjoy the details on it and the articulation it has on the waist, though the arms are a little heavy, I recommend replacing the ball joints with click joints (if that's the name)! overall, I enjoyed building this along with you (through trial and error)!

This alternate build is really sick, I liked the original model as is and I don't mind the shoulder cannons personally. But this alternate build elevates the look of the titan mech to another level, and with the weapons it gives strong gundam vibes as well pacific rim vibes as well without the weapons. Keep up the good work man!👍

Man this build is amazing the thing I didn’t like about the official one is the two swords getting in the way when moving the mech but in this alternate build the problem has Been solved thank you so much edit: I am thinking about making a video about this alternate build but I wanted to ask permission also I won’t forget to give you credit

that’s a one damn incredible build. I’m planning to get this set and I’m definitely going to build this alternative! can’t wait to include third titan mech to my new upcoming story. also, can you do “Nya’s Samurai X Titan” or “Zane’s Ice Titan” mech alternative? i have them both and i’m looking forward to do alternative too.
