The indent above the magwell is milled, not stamped. The stamped indent is only on Stamped receivers, which the AK-47 doesn't have.

If the grip is unstable, melt it a bit with w bit of heated metal so you can fuse the parts together. Don’t melt it to much. Just enough around the edges so it sticks to the ak I guess
