LEGO Batman 2 DC Super Heroes 100% Guide - Core Instability (All Minikits, Citizen in Peril)

LEGO Batman 2 DC Super Heroes 100% walkthrough of level 13 'Core Instability'. This game is available on the Wii U, Xbox 360 and PS3. This video shows the location of every minikit in Core Instability Below are the times when I collect each minikit and save the citizen in peril. The Super Hero stud requirement for Core Instability is 90,000 studs. All of the minikits in this level can be collected in Story Mode or Free Play mode.

01:30 - Minikit #1 Shoot Two-Face's Jeep
01:45 - Citizen in Peril - Shoot a LEGO tree on the right side of the screen to save the citizen in peril.
01:47 - Minikit #2 Shoot a large billboard for a minikit.
02:10 - Minikit #3 Destroy a taxi on the lefthand side of the road.
02:11 - Minikit #4 Destroy Two-Face's truck a second time.
02:15 - Minikit #5 Shoot the key in the hand of the large LEGO statue.
02:38 - Minikit #6 Destroy another large Lex Luthor billboard.
02:44 - Minikit #7 Destroy 10 spotlights around the area.
05:32 - Minikit #8 Destroy five large purple objects along the streets.
07:50 - Minikit #9 Destroy the helicopter on the right side after damaging the Joker a 2nd time.
07:53 - Minikit #10 - Automatically collected when you damage joker a 3rd time.

For people having troubles with this level there are two main solutions to why you keep getting 9/10. 1) You must shoot down the statues in order as shown in the video (never shoot down the same statue twice or to early or to late). 2) Play in Story Mode. (The trucks sometimes [ most of the times ] dont show up when playing Free Play mode.) Hope this helps people who are stuck

I hated this level so much. I think that it is the hardest out of them all but I finale got 100% in the level. Watching this video really did help. Thank you. It was the stupid statues for me, I wasn't timing them quit right.

Had 9/10 minikits. Replayed story mode and waited for both jeeps to turn up. That Solved the problem. Now have 10/10 minikits. Thanks for the vid. It helped a lot.

Update for the people stuck on 9 out of 10 minikits. You have to shoot the 1st joker truck not the joker robot, then you have to wait till the 2nd joker truck and destroy that. After that you HAVE to shoot 3 different silver boxes that breaks the huge statues! As song as you break the third statue you'll get the mini kit. I hope this helps!!!

I’m so ticked off. The stupid detectors keep screwing me up. There’s this secret mini kit hidden after you kill Joker the first time and it points to the sky, and there’s nothing there.

Avalanche TV I thought that it turns out you have missed a second two-face truck which you need to destroy and you only get one chance to get it. It’s annoying because every time you fail you need to exit and reload the level.

So literally ignore everyone else if stuff isnt making sense for why you still have 9/10 if you have the minikit detector detecting something above a tree on the right HERES THE REAL ANSWER: the reason theres so much trouble, is that a little bit after the first two-face truck appears, a second jeep shows up. HERES THE THING, you HAVE to stay on stage 1 of the fight, DONT KNOCK ANY STATUES OVER. it offsets the second jeep's spawnpoint and you cant shoot it any more. It only shows up 1 TIME per level and leaves after a second, you have to drive through until you get to the second jeeps spawnpoint (shown at 2:07 as a reference point) I did this in freeplay, i m not sure if playing on story mode changes the spawn offset of the second jeep. but nobody was helpful and I had to figure this out using clues in the video. Edit: apparently the spawns are screwed up in freeplay, so heres the freeplay version to get the minikit^

The answer is on the third round after you’ve shot the Joker Machine twice there is a helicopter on the right hand side of the road. The indicator makes it look like your missing something in the park on the left but it’s the chopper on the right. Good luck!

At 2:10 is where I think most of us never got when replaying to get that 9/10 minikits. Idk what everyone going on about the silver boxes for the statues. And plus you can't even shoot the same one. Specifying the truck after he shoots the taxi

For anyone stuck in the dtatues minikit, do it like this: in story mode, destroy one statue and then damage joker, there'll be a cutscene. Destroy a different statue and damage joker again, another cutscene. Destroy a different statue before damaging joker for the last time. It doesn't work in free play since it doesn't have cutscenes. Make sure you dont destroy the same statue twice.

Hello from the future I dug through other videos and found out you should not shoot the same statue the order doesn’t matter but don’t shoot one you have already shot it’s really stupid that they made the statutes respond after each cutscene/ time you defeated the joker bot

Harrison Hibbert After several attempts I discovered that is importent which silver bricks you destroy! Activate red brick finder and destroy only the silver bricks wich have an arrow (you have several silver bricks to shoot it, so be patient and wait for the one with the arrow). Repeat that 3 times and the last minikit is yours (look at the counter after destroying the silver bricks should be counting till 3!)
