true, but he felt like he failed as the caped crusader, and thought he could've done better even though his portrayal of the batman fit perfectly with the whole production of the film. The only problem was how brief and unnecessarily dark and gritty the other characters for instance superman was which isn't his normal self. going back to the brief topic, wonder woman and doomsday were really short lived through the movie and just appeared for no apparent reason, making the plot even more confusing than it already is. In conclusion, Ben's portrayal isn't the problem, rather it was the plot and character development and appearance so dull.

By the way, this is a very good example of how Batman would fight Superman without using Superman's weaknesses! Including some power from Wonder Woman, Green Lantern's ring can stop Superman, Shazam's electric powers could stop Superman, Kryptonite (that's why Luthor killed Superman) and a lot of sound, makes sense, since Superman has Super-hearing! By the way, I really like a those different gadgets, the Grapnel Gun, Reverse Batarang (Remote Controlled), Batarang, Fists of Justice (well, they aren't really gadgets) and some small bombs, I still don't know if those are supposed to be a distraction or are supposed to kill Superman!

Superman is incredibly powerful and I think we can all say he could easily beat batman in a fight. HOWEVER, Batman is and always will be my favorite hero. Superman is a completely OP hero, which makes him pretty boring. I mean the only way to really beat him is to have kryptonite. Both are interesting characters but in my opinion Batman is more interesting. In many stories, Batman has beaten Superman, but this is usually because he's laid a trap or used kryptonite. If Batman and Superman were to duke it out, good 'ol bat would have no chance, sorry to say.

Midnighttree Superman's not completely useless in the presence of kryptonite at least in the comics. In Batman Hush, Superman froze the Kryptonite ring on Batman's hand. In Superman/Batman: Vengence, Batman's entire body was irradiated with the stuff and Superman beat him using pressure point combat. So yeah, Superman could easily do things I listed with the exception of maybe applying heat vision directly to the kryptonite.

Chris Davs To my own personal taste, Superman is a boring character. Kryptonite is supposed to be its weakness, but it's not enough to make stories around him balanced at all, as he still got power and options. He has no real challenges, and that's why I think Batman has more success, at least in the past years, story wise. Might be a matter of taste only, I don't intend to thrash people who do like the character... but I think the writers have a bigger challenge in making Superman interesting, rather than whatever Superman might face as a challenge. Maybe Superman should write a challenging story about him, he might lose this one. Great and funny video though!

I'm just curious why people (if we're assuming they have full knowledge of each other, which Batman needs, not Superman) assume that Supes is even going to let a ring take effect. A single laser blast at super reflex speed would vaporize Batman. Explosive batarang. Superbreath. Hidden kryptonite. X-Ray vision at super reflex speed to scan the neighbourhood. Super hearing + x-ray vision + super reflexes if it's incoming. Syringe: Why are you close enough?. Laser beam or breathe him away. It's not that Superman is broken, it's that Batman should not be fighting him. A child shouldn't be fighting Batman either. One is just out of the other's league.

yeah it's an old post. thing is batman is better than luthor. but the thing is batman could defeat any foe except one with superhuman speed because, unless he had superhuman speed AND reflexes himself, he wouldn't be able to defeat them. Scenario 1: Kal flies straight at bruce and breaks his neck before he even gets the chance to get out the kryptonite (if he even had it). Scenario 2: say bruce already had kryptonite out, kal could just use his heat vision or throw a car or something at bruce from a distance. And Scenario 3: If bruce is wearing a heavy mech suit or something, kal just throws a larger car of piece of rubble.

yeah but on the field, batman is more resourceful and, in the scenario of the video, lex author wouldn't last a second if it were just him, his lovely suit and a handgun. Batman could perhaps briefly hold his own without kryptonite and without supes' speed but grappling a from the heat vision, throwing explosive baterangs, using other things that could very briefly (like a few seconds at most) incapacitate Kal like Heavy tasers (shock gloves), freeze pellets, flash bang grenades, an ultrasonic transmitter (to attract bats that could briefly get in superman's way) and several others. Also if he had his bat mobile nearby, he could shoot some missiles and stuff. Same goes for the batwing or anything else like that.

kal el is by no means invisible. any other (living) kryptonian would be able to defeat him. he's just immensely powerful compared to humans. don't get me wrong, batman is my favourite superhero and second favourite character in comic book history but in a random encounter he stands no chance against superman. he's not invisible though. there are countless ways to harm him + i said batman in a random encounter. give batman a hour prep he can take out most street levellers, give him a day he could take out superman level characters and give him any longer and he can take down gods. if he had infinite money.
