Small build, but I've been very busy this week. I finally figured out a way to make this batmobile (which I'm not a big fan of it tho, but I like it now more after building it) so here it is.

I have a feeling Batmobile designers/builders take their job as seriously as an actor would take playing the Joker. Unhinged in a good way. Compared to classic Batmobiles the Tumbler looked weird on the first publicity shots too. But now is part of movie car history forever. Though one's got to admit the new bat car DEFINITELY has been influenced by Mad Max: Fury Road.

One of the better Mocs out there for this Batmobile. I feel that with all the pictures everyone’s winds up highlighting a different aspect of this Batmobile. I liked how you did the sides and wheels. Can’t wait to see you tackle his motorcycle since LEGO’s is way too oversized but better than they usually do.

Great screen accuracy. Really like how the sides were angled, and engine detailing. The Lego one isn't bad, just looks way too bulky while the Technic one is too sleek a build.

First time seeing this thing. Kinda like it. For something serious, you either go the military route (the dark knight trillogy) or a sportscar, an effective way of going from point A to point B and maybe even fitting the bilionare personality and less suspicious.

I like both but honestly in my opinion the LEGO version looks better and more accurate as it’s larger and it fits two people but both versions are fantastic :)

People say this constantly. Of course a moc looks better than what Lego released. Lego is making a playable toy for children that has building restrictions, piece restrictions, and has to be easy to put together. A moc goes purely for accuracy, 0 restrictions

I don't understand why lego can't just do this. They have to put stickers and giant pieces to make up their builds. This in my opinion is so much better and may be more accurate.

Because it's a toy, while the set can be used for display but it's meant to be played with first and foremost. It has to appeal to Lego's target demographic,kids. Kids generally prefer a big batmobile with shooting functions and other play features reather than a display piece,thus lego designers are limited in terms of what they can build,how sturdy they can make the set be, the building techniques they can use etc. while for moc builders their only limit is their imagination

if it's not a convertible, then a batmobile should at least have wings. they're just fairy tales, you don't need physics or realism, just a bit of fantasy. (btw. i can recognize the vehicle from the trailer in the moc)

Can you also make the Batcycle from the movie too? The official Lego version is way too oversized and blocky.
