Can you imagine if you had to go up a ladder to upper floors in the Lego store? Good luck carrying the boxes down. Such a big missed opportunity here. Lego is 90 years old this year (as we all know) so why didn’t they do a big Lego modular store instead? Would have been so much better and a great way to celebrate 90 years

I'm happy that its possible to buy a lego store, not just gwps. This set is pretty good. However, the set should have a lego store employee minifigure, and should cost less. There should be an official lego modular building

Appreciate your honesty with the review. To me it feels like a cost savings set ( nice way to say cheap ). I am slightly worried about how inflation will effect LEGO sets going forward.

It looks cool on the box but I find it quite messed up to sell an "unfinished" lego store set Also putting a ladder to access the first floor is quite odd

About the ladder I will say, at least they actually put in access to the upper floor. I can't count the number of sets they release without even a suggestion of a way to get to the upper floors. Having stairs or ladders is a luxury if you're a minifigure.

I don't really like this set. It's got some great features but the things that put me of is that it doesn't feel very complete because when it's folded in you don't have back part for the upper floor and there's no roofs anywhere. And the ladder doesn't make any sense should have had stairs if not them then nothing like the sanctum sanctorum from 2018. Regardless this was designed for kids so if they enjoy it then that's what really matters. But you would think you would get more for the money but inflation is happening with everything so you can't really blame lego.

I agree it seems under built no staircase, no Lego branded manufig, no roof It’s probably OK if you get it as a gift for a purchase but I wouldn’t buy it separately

Completely disagree, which is fine. For folks like me who have a very small Lego town and who refuse to spend hundreds of pounds on expensive modular buildings, this is perfect. A small Lego store which can be easily modded and made bigger.

I felt the same when I saw the Third floor of the sanctum has no stairs. Lots of lego sets have questionable flow but I guess that means we have to use or imagination

Thank you for your honest review on this, a bit like you for the price I feel like this is not complete enough. A little bit like the new grocery store 60347, I am tempted because it has so much potential, but probably won't buy because of the price. I would be more okay with the price if it was complete, or I would be okay with the finished product if it was cheaper. But an expensive, incomplete set, no thanks.

I got the promo one and also bought this one and made a Modular out of it. Custom the inside with Harry Potter micro builds for the display windows. If you have two sets with good pieces , You can always try to make your own.

I overall like this set, but indeed, those stickers. I hate those small stickers and I know they'll be all cracked and slimy within a few years. I've no problem with the size, I actually like to have a variety of small stores on top of my shelves. I bought it at the LEGO store and it was 37 euros which seems a lot better than $50 but I know little about the conversion rate.

I do and don't understand why this set exists. So remember when the LEGO Store at WEM opened and you got it as a GWP...well I think what LEGO is trying to do with this is let everyone have a LEGO store set of their own without having to go to a brand new grand opening, but that's just my opinion though. Now having it be all stickers is ridiculous if you ask me, especially some sections that could've easily been print pieces. I think this appeals to MOC builders who will buy multiple and would want a giant LEGO store in their city that they can MILS plate on. Great video yet again.

Anyone who built a Lego Vidiyo set knows that if they want to printed bricks in a small set is no problem. Many prints of multiple designs. Check out a video of the Vidiyo sets if you haven’t. So please increase the prince needed and print those bricks Lego ! I love this set. I would want it much bigger so I’ll have to get a couple and mod one.

The LEGO Group could easily produce an awesome modular Lego Store that I'm sure any fan/collector would want in their city, I know I'd buy it! Lego store employee mini figs are for employees only. Each employee gets one. You will occasionally find one online.

i think this set is quite good for a person who cant afford large scale modular buildings (such as myself) i like this set as it is affordable and is still modular for a small town/city for cheap money but i can understand for big creators who have large scale cities on why this would be a disappointment and also i did buy this for 37 euros and its a very good price where i am for the money

That’s a shame just bc I haven’t had the opportunity to grab one of the GWP sets nor was I collecting when they were around to purchase before. So, essentially, if someone wanted to build a creator 3-in-1 sized “modular” lego store- lets do the math.. say you buy 2 of these sets & you’re lucky that your PAB wall has a bunch of decent elements.. you’re looking at about $120 to build a Lego store. I think with the price per piece, I understand it- the stickers- I understand but honestly, they need to make these 1x2 tiles as prints. It’s dumb that we can get 1x2 cell phones printed, but not lego “sets”.. and why wouldn’t lego want to have a printed, branded brick? I appreciate some of the parts- but honestly for $50…. I’d rather buy a few of the sticker sheets from bricklink, source out some parts, and go from there. I was kinda looking forward to this one, too. Oh well. I think this set is okay. Its not spectacular or anything but its okay. I agree with you 100 %. Its way too small, no store clerk and it's just not that great to be honest. And I think 50 $ is way to overpriced for this small of a set. But it is what it is.
