My Lego Bricklink Designer Programme sets from series 1 have finally arrived!

I will be attending the Northampton National Brick Event on Sunday 7th July. The event runs from 9am until 6pm and will be held at the Benham Sports Centre, Kings Park Rd, Northampton NN3 6LL.

Iain, I am glad you have received your sets, and they all look great! And, the box condition is decent! I ordered the Parisian Street & General Store. Received an email from Lego last week that the General Store is back-ordered. My credit card has been charged for Parisian Street, but it hasn't yet shipped to me in the USA. I imagine all sets are shipped from Denmark. Thanks for another great haul video - this one was certainly special - BrickLink Designer Program Series 1!!

Wow great haul. I like the Castle and Train Shed but didn't buy any. I did my first purchase with Brick Cross Train Station so can't wait for that to arrive. I have Castle in the Forest buy that was a later purchase on eBay.

Just to add on what you said, the connection between Ideas and BDP as you described was correct for the previous series, but the reason why this is the 1st, is that they want to allow anyone to submit their Lego creation, so they have started again with BDP series 1 and so on. It is not exclusive to the invitation only anymore, anyone can submit and then anyone can vote on the submissions, and then Lego designers together with the public vote decide which 5 sets they are going to forward to crowdfunding.

You got some good ones Iain. For me this was also the first time i got some BL designer sets. I bought 2 of the snackshack and 2 of the Train shed. For the 2e wave i ordered 2 mushroom houses and one of the trainstations. Obviously all for selling purposes ☺️

I cancelled my x2 General Store order as not many "pre-order" listings on eBay last month. Just looking now there are 70+ new listed and only 3 sold. Much less compared to the Fortress and Train Shed. So could be that it's only worth picking up the sets that sell out within 24-48hrs to judge demand? Maybe the sets that dont "sell out" are better for a long hold, as less are produced.

I think there will always be a market for these sets, alti doubt most of them will be doubling in value anytime soon. Having said that, there is definitely some profit to be had in these sets.

When you sell the bricklink sets you should make just a video on them alone

Didn’t buy any from series 1. Had the fortress in my basket so slightly regret that. I got Brick Cross and Ominous Isle from Series 2. Looking forward to the Forestmen Stronghold in series 3. Expect in sells out in a few hours. Are you getting that one?

It's too late for series 1 and 2, but if you go to Bricklink and look at their designer programme, you will be able to see which sets will be available in future series.
