M:Tron for the win. My first convention MOC was for the M:Tron theme. I'd say I miss digging through used brick (Bricks & Minifigs down here in Portland) during corona, but i have multiple bins of bulk I still need to get sorted into the collection, so in reality I just miss BUYING said LEGO.

There is a Little Red motor (two by two) from some old Lego Technic sets they are low rpm, low noise and runs perfectly off a 9 volt battery that's what you need for your Planetarium.

I used to have one of those. It died on me. :( I am not sure it would have the torque to drive that long of a shaft though.
