In the 18 years of the current Lego City theme, it is surreal that this is the first set with over 2000 pieces. I personally don't remember what the largest set in the theme was until now, but even this isn't quite as many as many of the other modular buildings are.

In my opinion this is type of sets that lego city needed for a long time, this allows fans to build actual lego CITY not another police station or something like that.

Ok, I'm an old-school AFOL. I'll admit I was a bit "meh" when I first saw this. I bought it as I'm building a Train/City layout, but wasn't that thrilled about it. But the more I look at the design, colour schemes, build choices, modularity etc, the more it grows on me. Considering also it is primarily a toy designed for kids, I think there's huge playability too. All round I think it may be one of the best LEGO City sets ever. 👍

@@christophercarrera2005 theres a leaked image of the box, you can make out the plane and such but theres other things in the set that you cant really see like theres a plane tower or whatever its called but you can just barely make it out. there might be newer images but i havent checked
