Which flywheel-powered models did you like the most? Do you think they perform better than those with electric motors?

When you showed the nano crawler you had the vertical input shaft driving each wheel and they were going opposite direction as it should. When it started climbing they were obviously all spinning in the correct direction. What changed?

Hm. Interesting. The flywheel having a set amount of energy to go by forces you to think about the efficiency too, not just about the amount of climbing power. Having the vehicles use the same flywheel accelerated by a motor to a set amount of speed would easily give them just the same amount of energy. Making the whole run about not wasting energy on the internal and external losses. Another way to give them the same set amount of energy, rubberbands. That would be a video i'd like to see too.

The one with the bigger wheels in the back, seems to have a slight rear biased overdrive (because of a larger final drive / wheel). Model RC rockcrawlers will add a larger final drive to the front wheels, as it actually helped claw up and over steep obstacles. I bet adding the larger wheels to the front would’ve performed better than adding them to the rear. My two cents 😂 Fun video, keep them coming!

what is a flywheel?
@JackCreator732 ай бұрын
A flywheel is like a spinning top. When you spin it really fast, it stores energy, like when you wind up a toy car. Then, when you let go, it uses that energy to keep spinning or to make something else move. It’s a clever way to save energy and use it later!

not only toy cars but also in real cars,the only difference is that its made from metal and much more heavier,but when you question "why do need it to be heavy" you might ask its just simple,it is used for the engine,also btw without a flywheel the engine will die when your trying to change gears in a manual vehicle "cluch included"
