Awesome video Emily 👍! The City is really starting to come together! The mils system looks awesome in your city! I would suggest moving the pet shop modular away from the Avengers tower so that it has more space, because right now, it looks a little cluttered in between the daily bugle and the pet shop modular. If you remove the pet shop, you could put something like a park beside the Avengers tower, or just expand the building that's beneath it. Just a suggestion, but great video overall 😀!

Nice update. I have the lego scooby doo mansion set in my city right now itvis just in a corner next to my small grave yard and Flintstones ideas set but for being a big scooby doo fan even before I was into lego I had to get the mystery machine set which I did in 2015 when the sets were originally out but I did not get the mansion set until 2019 and I paid $200 for it sealed which was not to bad and I honestly was willing to pay up to $250 for it since I was so determined to get the set. Would you add the whinnie the pooh ideas set somewhere in your lego set up? I just got it this past weekend and I plan to add it to my forrest area in a few months.

You’re going to enjoy having so much more real estate for your city. As a LEGO city builder myself I can speak for everyone when I say you can never have to much real estate. If you ever run out of real estate don’t be afraid to get creative and stack builds on top ofeach other. You’re going to enjoy yourself a lot and I can’t wait for the good times to come

THAT'S THE CONTENT I LOVE TO WATCH! Keep going! In the 1st block of modular building you can use the space behind them and make like a park with small sidewalk with those circular small plates like rocks! Hope you like the idea!😌

A good corner build would be the Sanctum Sanctorum from Avengers Infinity war. I saw you had it so I think that would be cool.

I think the Scooby Doo mansion should go in the Disney amusement park Area of your city, it would fit in really well, but if you did put it’s in your Main city Area you should put it in the outskirts in a forest like area. Though I still think the Disney amusement park area is the best place to put it

City is coming along gorgeously! Def do a mills-video if you’re up for it- I’m new into this whole modding/moc-ing thing but I have SO many things I want to do- and I buy random sets on clearance just for pieces lol.. question- how long have your bricks & pieces orders been taking from the time you order them to when you actually receive them? (Aside from the current North America delay- my August 2nd order is •finally• supposed to be delivered today- glad it was seasonal sets for Christmas lol.. I really want to order from bricks & pieces- and should anyway- but I’ve heard various stories about how long it takes- rightfully so, but I just figured I’d ask someone else in the states to see what the down-time is.. Keep up the great work! Love it!
@Emmasaurus3 жыл бұрын
The longest it ever took was two months, but that was in 2020 when there were a lot more shipping delays! Our order already shipped so hopefully it'll be here by the end of this coming week! As for modding/MOCing, the hardest part for me was to just get started! It was super intimidating because I have no clue what to do, but you keep trying different things and soon enough it turns into something awesome!

Looking good... I like the spring lantern festival. You could actually make that a centerpiece for a city kind of like Central Park in New York. Scooby's Mystery Mansion looks like something that should be in the Haunted Forest on the outskirts of town. Maybe on the other side of the road in the entrance to the forest. The 50 year town plan center, Sesame Street, and Scooby's Mystery Mansion look like they need to be updated as a Modular, so they have interiors, sides, and backs. This would really go a long way to making them look like they belong. I could see Sesame Street as a corner modular too, but it would almost take up both corners where you would just build a building face on the opposite side to have a street side building. Wouldn't it be cool that the face of the opposite side building be a Toys R Us or something?
@idontcarebricks82533 жыл бұрын
I think you shouldn’t put the Scooby doo mansion in Disney land. I think it would look best off in a far corner. Kinda like away from the center of action but still very close
@TheBlueBaron3 жыл бұрын
It really is extremely well done; I love how almost all of them are in traditional architecture, making it more beautful than many real life cities today. I hope to build one of my own one day; mine though will be even more of a showcase of traditional architecture since I've already started by getting modular lego churches; a cathedral and a corner modular church. Now, technically they're lepin, but you can't tell the difference aside from the lack of branding on each brick. I've made the Cathedral the center and am currently expanding out from there with a graveyard on one side (which will provide a gradual shift into the lego haunted house sets which I've bought but haven't assembled). And on the other side I'll have more pristine mansions and other gothic architecture, giving the idea that the city is a European city going back to the medieval era or earlier. Unfortunately I don't have the space to set up a large horizontal display just yet though; so I'll have to do some more figuring out.

That's good progress you're making there, soon the road baseplates will be gone (or loved to a new third block for future expansion??). Anyways, I'd love a video on how you make the roads, it's always a great source of inspiration! Once you've rebricked Sesame Street, do you plan to use other rebrickable models? Like the one for the friends sets? Or for the modulars?
