Try dark green and dark blue plates underneath the clear blue tiles in the canal.

Awesome city update 👍! Your city has changed a lot since the last time I saw it! The canal is a cool idea! I like how you're redoing your old Lego mocs to make them better!

It is turning out very nice the water plates looks nice and relaxing! The costs rise when the landscaping takes place! But worth it!
@LittleBinsandBricks2 жыл бұрын
Thank you! I do love how the water brings a relaxed vibe to the area. The costs do rise for landscaping but I’ve decided this year that I don’t need LEGO sets that I won’t use in the city (unless something really catches my eye) so I think that will help!

I love the bridge idea! The bridge might be better if you lower it by one brick. The city looks really good!

Awesome thanks for the thought. I did actually raise it a brick lol after I made it because the fig looked so large/tall next to it!

I love the extension of the canal and the bridges! I don´t think you have the space at the moment, but it just came to my mind that some Amsterdam style waterfront buildings would look nice.

Thank you! Yes! I have looked at those types of buildings too but space is an issue. Maybe….

Things are hotting up in your city and really looking forward to seeing the ideas come to fruition. You’re spot-on about the curb height as 2 plates is just simply too much. I know Lego is not to scale but it has to be aesthetically pleasing.

Thanks so much! It’s the littlest details sometimes… it is getting hot in there, need to cool off in the canal.

Enjoyed the update, the bridge build is great and that section will look amazing when you put another bridge further back too, can't wait to see it! Never even considered any Ninjago stuff but you've really got me thinking now after seeing how the sets you have could be merged into a city layout - my shopping list is getting bigger! Keep up the excellent work 👌👍

What a great video and such a cool room! So much natural light looks like it finds its way inside. Your city is coming along very nicely and you got some amazing hauls these past few weeks! Were you able to order the Venetian Houses from round 2 on the Bricklink Designer Program? It will look so good with the canals.
