Lego question… have you ever had road plates where you could see the support moulding underneath showing through the top of the road plates? Looks like a defect in the moulding process.

I have recently heard about this being an issues from other people. So far I haven’t gotten any road plates like this. Have you reached out to Lego customer service? They are really helpful!!

What is the reason to use tech brick 1x4, instead of 1x2 brick with 2 holes? Just curious because I havent tried yet, but I want the road to be wider, so use 1x2 bricks with 2 holes and add extra width to the road? will that work?

I’ve just found you on KZbin and I’m absolutely loving your vlogs. I’m a 51 year old newbie to Modular’s and really want to create a city and you’ve inspired me so much. Your city is fantastic and proves that it doesn’t have to be crazy big to look awesome. I’m loving the water based area, with the shrimp shack etc. I’m really looking forward to diving into your back catalogue to see where you started from and how far you’ve come. You’re also a natural at presenting and have a very good calming presence on camera, keep being you👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

I bought a LEGO 32x32 to build a MILS plate from my LEGO store. the holes on the reverse side are too small to lock into the bricks. Has LEGO changed the design or am I doing something wrong?
@LittleBinsandBricks9 ай бұрын
That would be your bottom layer to which you then add the bricks followed by the plates. A baseplate and actual plates are not the same.

@LittleBinsandBricks9 ай бұрын
@@jraglob5924 feel free to ask questions! While I don’t make videos any longer I do see comments come through. Your Modular’s will all have the initial base plate you can use to start the mils plate and from there you’ll need to source the top plates. You can choose to match the color of the baseplate that comes with the modular like I did or you can try to buy bulk in one color. It’s gotten more expensive to do this then when I initially started.
@deco4k6779 ай бұрын
It's less than 14€ in pieces (for a 32x32 area) in my case; I use 4 of those 16x16x4/3 technic bricks (which I buy from Lego) and 12 technic pins (cheaper on bricklink but I have thousands so I'm good lol) Do I find 14€ cheap? Not really but, considering I'm gonna put 200€ or more worth of lego on top.. yeah I think it's worth it xD I do not use these big blocks (or at least not to cover the whole baseplate) when I wanna build anything bellow sidewalk level, obviously.

@LittleBinsandBricks Жыл бұрын
Well that’s very dependent on where you live and whether you want them new or used with box or not… I’ve since sold these two in the last two months as used for more than I paid new as nothing on bricklink or eBay could match at that point in time. Additionally depends on the state of economy. Yes you can buy a used brick bank on eBay right now for $300 but they’re charging like $150 for shipping.
