LEGO City Yellow Delivery Truck 60440 Review

In todays video I will be reviewing the Lego City Yellow Delivery Truck. This amazing set which was released on 1st June 2024, retails for £89.99/$99.99 and contains 1061 pieces. This is the second Lego delivery truck but is a vast improvement over the previous version and is certainly a Lego set to be played with.

Costco has them for $25 off retail, down to $75 from $100.

Great set. It wasn’t high on my priority list, but Lego cut some kind of deal with Costco here in the states where it was available for $75 day one at Costco. Too good of a deal to pass up. I’m currently building this truck with my son.

Also, more on the Costco connection: Both of the workers look like Costco employees just without specific Costco logos. And Costco is known for their $2 hotdog and soda combo in their food courts…which just so happens to match the sandwich board sign advert in this set. Coincidence? I think not! LOL.

Oh nice, that’s an absolute steel at that price, even at RRP it’s good value but $75 is outstanding. I hope you and your son enjoy the set, it’s certainly designed to be played with and is quite solid🙂

I love how everybody is oohing and aahing about this truck. When was the last time Lego gave us a proper brick built big rig truck. I think the last one which wasn’t the greatest was in 2010’s. I’m not talking about technic. I mean creator expert. Wait we never had a proper one in creator expert. Creator 3 in 1 had an attempt that’s it. ☹️

Yeah it certainly has been a very long time, I can only think of the Mac Anthem a few years ago but that was Technic. I guess you could say Optimus Prime is a decent truck😂

@@TheDyslexicGeak Optimus is nice for what it is. Still not a proper big rig. I’m not longing for a tractor trailer set up. Just a nice cab would suffice perfectly fine. C’mon Lego how many Batmobiles do we possibly need before one proper truck is present?
