I managed to pick this up today for $25 USD, and for that price I'm honestly pretty happy with this set. To me the msrp seems a bit too high, but $25 to $30 seems about right for what you get. My personal favorite of the builds is the main house boat, which I'll likely be re-theming a bit to have a bit of a pirate aesthetic.

It's not about to eat the bird, actually. There are several species of birds, most popularly the plover bird, that sit inside their mouths and pick food from their teeth. It's a symbiotic relationship, like the smaller fish that ride along attached to sharks.

Got it for 25 bucks, modified the houseboat by adding a balcony and railing. In the original build, the figures can't possibly walk to the door or use it, because it faces the wrong way. Good review, Justin!

The USA price is bizarre. It's only $40AUD in Australia, which is typical price of $25 USD sets. Very strange, we have never seen this type of price disparity before.
