12:26 The guy just chilling and drinking XD as if he isn’t about to possibly drown
That’s what some of the male passengers did when the Titanic was sinking. Legend has it when Thomas Andrews entered the first class smoking room there was a group of men playing cards completely oblivious of the noise of the passengers being put into lifeboats. Some of the men went back to there room and dressed in there best saying they would go down like gentlemen.

Report of the investigation into the tragedy of the SS "SALEROSA * November 16, 1998. 1: The exits on the" Salerosa "were not correctly marked 2: Instead of sending crew members to wake up all the passengers, the fire alarms were simply sounded, which caused panic, and besides everything, some people did not hear the alarms and fell asleep, the latter could have been avoided by sending crew members to check the cabins. 3: The boats Lifebuoys were small and insufficient for all passengers and crew, which ended up causing many casualties, in addition to the lifeboats being improperly filled and no counts were made to verify that everyone was on deck. 4: In one Carelessness, the lighthouse keeper who was supposed to watch, fell asleep and did not notice that the bulb which should have been replaced, had burned out, which caused the "Salerosa" to crash a against the dangerous rocks of "Rocky Bay". Conclusion: The Salerosa catastrophe would have been easily avoided if the lighthouse keeper had been attentive, however the guilt also lies with the owner of the ship, for not giving a special and well-planned procedure in case of emergencies, and for the lack of lifeboats.

Following the 'Salerosa' incident, a mass legal battle would break out between 'Raimian Lines', the board of trade, the survivors of the sinking and the families of those less fortunate. This would ultimately seal the fate of 'Ramian Lines' who filed for bankruptcy in the early 2000s. As for the wreck of the 'Salerosa', for several years, the citizens of 'Rocky Island' launched various campaigns for the wreck to be removed, currently it sits around 800ft below sea level and though some ideas have been thrown around in terms of raising or destroying the ship, none have come to anything so far.

In Able Bodied Seaman Lookout Jack Tweedie report 5:54 'I told Captain Jermain Pancrus that we where on a collision course with rocks but it was too late when he told us to steer left. This was after Chief Navigational Officer Charles Napier and Apprentice Officer Mika Kauhanen a new Cadet was on training at the time on SS Salerosa having witnessed the ship collide with rocks. I stayed on the ship and to the very end I was on the Ships Stern and it was I who saw the drunken Green Passenger and his friend the Lumberjack held onto deer life as it went down into the sea. Afterwards I was rescued and I survived the disaster and I later told the media what I saw that still haunts me to this very day?' 12:25 As told Able Bodied Seaman Lookout Jack Tweedie was on the Ships Stern when we saw the Drunken Green Man his Lumberjack Pal name Karl and they was two Chiefs of course and they was a Ships Engineer Motorman named Pieter Laiho was another survivor who clinged on of course he was rescued as well.

@@ArchivoLocalUY The nexrt memoir was told by Harry Wright at 9:30 In Passenger Harry Wright's report. 'I had over drank at the Party Hard Club that night? one of the crew on the ship was a DJ at the radio his name was Disco Steu and he was playing music for us that night, my mates were having such a good time until it got late I went to bed my head ached, I was too fast asleep to hear the Lifeboad Drill Alarms that sounded the SS Salerosa was sinking fast, But as the ship flooded with water I fell off my bed into a pool of water I woke up astonished, 'What in gods name?' I said and I hurried out the door looked both ways and then I decided I knew the ship was going down so I thaught I would hurry to the Boat Deck, but by the time I got away from the flood the Lifeboats where gone and then I knew my time was up so I hurried to the Stern of the Salerosa hoping to see any of my mates their, unforunately my mate whom had a red shirt and grey trousers and dark hair his name was Armani Lazzarotto my Italian Friend from the party boarded a lifeboat he was fine I was glad to hear he wasn't among the passengers on the Stern but at first I feared he was probably gone but yes as the ship went down at 12:05 as I got to the Stern I knew Armani wasn't their, but of course Green Guy and Lumberjack where alright I saw them but as the Stern lifted from the sea, 12:16 I held on for dear life and I said probably wishing it wasn't the last, 'This is it this is the end of Harry Wright and I'm done for?' I exclaimed, 12:39 well in that moment I knew I was going to probably die in the sea but however that wasn't the end of my life, 13:23 well I was saved and at 13:43 well after the rescue boat came to save us, I went to find my best friend Armani and he was alright he was glad to see me again just as long as I ensured he was not among the deceased off the ship but that's how I reunited with him, Armani was comforting another passenger whom which her name was Lisa Bannister a blonde haired girl whom felt saddened and traumatised after the event, well I was glad to have lived and I was glad my mates specially Armani, Green Guy, Lumberjack otherwise named Karl, where both alive and well, and the Russian Crewman from the Salerosa named Able Bodied Seaman Sergio Koskov thanked me for my heroic deeds basically that I was the last passenger to leave the dormitory before the ship sank and took me down with it and I was inhaled a hero by everyone on the ship and Green Guy even offered me a drink, I even wrote a book about the story of SS Salerosa and I told a documentry a year later,' 'Passenger Harry Wright from Room 128 on the SS Salerosa'.

I adored this one. It's more detailed than the other LEGO sinking ship videos I've seen. However, as someone with a deep maritime knowledge, I spotted some errors that still plague even the most detailed videos. For one thing, ships were required to carry enough lifeboats for everyone on board ever since the sinking of the _Titanic._ My headcannon for this video is that the _Salerosa_ had something similar to the MV _Doña Paz,_ in which the ship being overcrowded caused a great loss of life when she collided with the MT _Vector:_ Just on the _Doña Paz,_ 4,375 passengers and crew died and only 24 passengers survived, making the _Doña Paz_ the greatest loss of life in any peacetime maritime disaster. And of course, part of me died inside when the captain said, "Turn left." The correct term for this command would be, "Hard to port."

There is only one problem with this video and it is a real big problem. The accident was caused by the ship crashing into rocks by a bulb-damaged light-house which is shallow water and far too shallow to sink a cruse liner especially the liners today, the ones built by Royal Caribbean International which is what this one looks like it was modeled after or at least if it was all white, but it's still too big to fit under water where it crashed. But that's fine really despite the fact that it won't fully sink it still won't float of course in light of that perhaps then the 200 missing bodies the were somehow never recovered simply became locals on the island hardy har har.

Brilliant. I can only imagine how long this took you. Fantastic attention to detail, and the lighting is very well thought out and love the way you have animated the water. I dont understand though why you have 811 thumb downs. They obviously do not appreciate the hard work and dedication it took to complete this. Well done.
