This was actually really well done. Good job. Also, good job on getting the placement of the log ramps correct with the direction they’re facing. People mess that up. They were meant to be used during high tide, and the allied boats were meant to run over them and detonate the mines on them, but obviously the invasion happened during low tide and they were pretty much useless.
@raymesquite2 жыл бұрын
What is not well done are the giant concrete bunkers. When I was there three years ago, I didn't see those. Then I went to the museums and the photos clearly show they never were. I learned Spielberg simply added those to the movie. Another surprise was those Higgins boats were wooden.
@joshuaneate3582 жыл бұрын
@@raymesquite wooden? That doesn’t make any sense. A simple, wooden boat would not be able to survive constant bursts of machine gun fire, all while being bombarded with heavy artillery. Operation Neptune, or D-Day, stretched across 5 beaches, from West to East: Utah, Omaha, Gold, Juno and Sword. The first two were landed by the US forces, Gold and Sword by the Brits, and Juno by the Canadians. Other allied forces (French, Norwegians, Dutch, Polish) provided naval support in different aspects, from bombardment to mine sweeping.

Well done my friend! You know... it’s great to see someone recreating history, in a time where so many people are trying to convince us that it “didn’t happen” (which is bull by the way.) when so many people gave their lives to fight for the freedom we have to do stuff like this. So, again, great work!!

This is incredible - I can't imagine how much work this took. People need reminding of the enormous sacrifices made in the name of freedom. Keep going with your excellent work as people will forget the price of freedom - unless reminded. Respect!

This was amazing! I was thinking that this would be one of those goofy, funny stupid LEGO videos but this was actually really cool. They captured the dramatic element of it wonderfully. I loved this video. 😀

Very good but the only not realistic thing is when the Allie steps on the landline and all he does is get flung back but however irl he would of been exploded into pieces with blood everywhere, but I like how you kept it family friendly. GREAT job on this animation tho, very well done! 👍

These events are depicted in the first 20 minutes of "Saving Private Ryan," quite realistically, but some viewers find it too upsetting. It's brutal. I saw people get up and leave the theater.

Great job! I like how you’ve correctly placed the Czech hedgehogs and anti-tank log ramps. Not many people get that right. Good job as well the film itself! The VFX are the best I’ve seen. However, if I may offer a little bit of constructive feedback: among the first wave of landing craft was a platoon of black Americans, who played a massive role in taking out the bunkers. It would be great to see those lads in action. Overall, brilliant job, keep it up!

I just notice something well this is my first comment to your channel but also that I noticed that the more you go on the Moor the advanced battles they are so basically you started afresh with pirate battles with muskets then you went to world war II where there was some bigger guns then now you're on world war II because of the next war which means you're getting better and better of doing more battles I see there was a little blood to show the effects that it wasn't a bloody messages that you showed that there was damage so I say you're doing great I love your channel and finally you're one of my favorite animation of Lego so hope you're doing well and I'll be watching all these videos.
