Quick village tip. If you’re looking for a good spot to build a village look at the areas that are run down or broken. I’ve found a lot of good spots with flat land that makes building a lot more easier.

Another bonus to those naturally spawning, broken down structures is they render in from a farther distance than your own builds (even after the natural structure has been broken down) making it easier to spot your village from long distance

I have an endgame tip for you guys. Build 2-3 ovens, remove all grills and juicers and let your villagers cook for you. They will only cook the best food in the game and more than you can carry. Works with every villager.

I'd say the snowberry smoothie is super important for exploring dry lands caves though

But they are still good, because you drink them fast! So i have a little farm for snowberries. for milk i just feed cows huge staks of vine. And the bots cant craft them anyways. So i suggest, as soon as you get the oven, remove the other cooking gadgets

@@infern1491 Sometimes when available I give him an uncommon sword, but without it he's also just good at distracting the mobs so I can kill those or run away when I'm not interested in their loot.

I give him a full enhanced sword..he can tank a Winter Brute and RARELY dies!

The smelt metal job is still not in the game yet in my experience. I've them all doing the same job in all three biomes and they all only gave me their working %.

I had to stop Aura from Gem duty after I got one large chest filled with cut ambers in like 4/5 in-game days😂

@@seventrue871 nopes, she didn't give anything else other than Cut Amber. That's why I stopped her, initially thought it might be a bug and so kept going thinking she might give other gems, but nah.

Same I have aura and sky at my village and put them on gems and there only giving me cut amber. Ruby is so hard to find though.

With Yeti holding a fully enhanced long sword. I just do my business and he kills everything in any biome and can tank a winter brute while i comfortably shoot him from range. Best exploring villager IMO!

Taking villagers on adventures is expensive and frusterating. They destroy their tools because they will fight EVERYTHING and when their swords break they will use the axes and picks. They will use up the majority of durability fighting things you have already ran past. They are also so slow to help when they do have the tool that they get maybe 1 or 2 hits in before the resoure is collected. They will also destroy the platform you are standing on trying to hit the ore they cant reach

My nephew says he just gives them the equipment the skeletons drop. I've started doing that, and it works out. Now I don't have to craft expensive tools for them. Last time I tried, my helper ended up destroying my stairs or something I was trying to keep. So broken tools they get from now on lol it's enough to protect me while I gather resources

I'm only seeing cut Amber (30 max) when I assign anyone on gem, why none other. And I don't think Smelt metal job ever got me any bars, and it always takes long. I don't know if they are just lacking tools. I gave Aura a rare pickaxe and she came back with 30 cut Amber as usual! So IDK. Think the system in place is bugged!

New patch fixed the smelters...but i just get copper, no iron. The gems are still just cut amber in each biome. Im at the point where I just leave cut amber on the ground like bones.

once you remove the villagers bed you can then talk to the unwanted villager and they will say they want to leave and that makes them leave straight away

It would be nice to have more villagers in your village they shouldn’t have a cap. There’s so many cool looking villagers 10 is not enough.

I used to give the villager that explore with me a low durability tools and weapon since it seemed they don't break. But I think it's patched since lately it keeps showing up the no tools icon or attacking with tools instead of a sword 😢

I stopped taking them adventuring because the amount of tools they would go though attacking literally every monster they seem was costing more resources to make the tools than were collected with their help

How come when you task metal smelting to any villager you get 0 bars of anything, when you should get bars? Is it a glitch or something?

Cat guy, beef boss, Silas are top villager, I abandoned skye and aura they don't work good enough for me in any town, But the archeology looking like npcs in the dessert they are the best villagers I have in any world they are just amazing on almost any job regarding mats

Does anyone know which villager will cut ruby or sapphire? I no I read u need a villager on gems in the dry valley and frost area but still I only get cut amber... any tips? Or is this still glitched maybe? Thanks ahead

I don't believe you can, I think the only thing you can do is destroy the bed in one village and hope they they turn up in your other one by chance
