Connor likes the sense of discovery. In Minecraft there's not enough guide and too easy to fuck around. So this is exciting for him.

It also doesn't help that every time he's played Minecraft, everyone else on the server, including Mouse, has played on that server for days before he had. So, he either was always way behind, and/or everyone, especially Mouse, would just give him everything in the game and not explain/show Connor how to progress. I think because of that, Connor doesn't like Minecraft.

It's ashame that lego didn't release the game as it's own thing, I would have got it on it's own. I loved playing the lego PC games from the early 2000's

That's always been the problem. No one actually has helped guide/tell him how to go through the progressions, even in modded Minecraft. They've either given him a tour of their pre-established builds, or Mouse just gives him everything instead of having him go through the progression, or at least telling him his next steps. I think this all has made him not like Minecraft without even knowing all the interesting stuff it and the Mods have.

Lego Minecraft is probably the best game so far. I see the other game's inspirations from it: Minecraft's crafting system Don't Starve's wolf raid every few days Terraria's NPC system (In terraria,, you can get villager to live by having a house, light, table and chair) Soul's combat system (But I felt it was more like Zelda. The combo strikes and roll?) This is close to what League of Legends need. Once you're tired of the PVP life in Fortnite, then you can chill in a survival like game This is what League of Legends need, something to chill after a PVP. Good thing someone in Fortnite is following League's community.

Its crazy the mixed reactions lego fortnite has where its either highly impressed by it like Connor, or just feels boring like how Mouse does. Maybe has to do with how its similar to Minecraft but highly automized and different with in depth mechanics, so many who are big into Minecraft don't really like it, where as some who don't like Minecraft's very simple do anything playstyle get to have lego fortnite.
