As a girl in her 20s who grew up LOVING Lego friends I’m so happy that this line is still getting all the love it deserves. I love the mini dolls (sue me) so I’m so happy that they are just getting better and better. Lego friends got me into Lego and I will forever love it for that.

You know i'm kinda jealous of you. I'm a Guy in His mid twenties and Always loved the look of Friends but never bought a single set because i'm Not the target group and also have other interests. But Friends to me Always was and will be one of Legos best looking series. This one especially deserves my praise again after last years botanical garden being also one of the most stunning looking sets.

Love the design, just wish City got this kind of architecture love. Making the house built into the terrain is a nice touch to give it a real world feel. The luxury feel kind of gives me Pardisa vibes. I would love to see that revived in City. And the car is an awesome design. I wouldn't mind them redoing that in blue and making it a Ten or Eleven dollar City set.

Because of the tall hollow bricks used for the waterfall, you could put a koi tile inside and make it fall off the roof due to the obvious lack of fish safety😂

I know you catch flak for reviewing Friends sets but I have always valued your opinion on all sets, especially Friends-I was very happy to see that you resisted the negativity and reviewed this set. I am not fan of this particular LEGO line but this set is very impressive! It has great design and it looks awesome! There are lots of cool features and spaces to play. Just imagine such set in late 80's or early 90's... it would have already "cult" status.

Love that the play sets have things for adults to appreciate. The details they can pack in now are astounding compared to when I was growing up and it was bare bones

I love that the proportions of the doll figs next to the car work very good, unlike minifigs next to their cars (cars are huge, minifigs are super short). Also the garage system is brilliant.

I'm okay with Andrea's mansion being a bit more focused on the architecture than the playability; after all, pop stars aren't particularly known for practicality; it's all about the glitz and glamor! Who needs bathrooms, logic, and accessibility anyway? 😊

Very impressive model [and review]. Does feel like it needs more studded areas on the inside for the dolls to stand - especially on the elevator! As someone who has lived more than half their life in SoCal, seeing this set truly reminds me of big homes in the area - the attention to detail for the vegetation especially is impressive. Do wish this was $25 USD cheaper, but still - this is a gorgeous set. Love the garage feature and that basement studio/bedroom!

I'm so glad Lego took a gamble with the bold esthetics of this house. Such a breath of fresh air compared to the mostly super-conservative, staid architectural styles of the modular line. All this house needs is a little Nagel print hanging on the wall to complete the 80's modern vibe. This set and the Botanical Garden are real feathers in the cap for the Friends design team.

Great review. It’s a great set. I got the botanical garden for my son and it’s next level. Lego Friends is where it’s at. The builds are amazing. City has dropped the ball. I love the story telling as well. Paisley is such a cool character. Makes me feel old that the first generation of Friends has grown up.

I said this before and nothing has changed but I think Friends is still to this day one of Legos most interesting and best looking series. I'm absolutely Not the target group and won't ever buy one of these sets but imagining the Kids playing with something like this reminds me of my own childhood. Friends still has the most stunning ideas in all of Lego. City doesn't even hold a candle imo.

Obviously it's a toy and that causes limitations, but the design makes me imagine that the owners had a very limited plot of land. Still they wanted a lot of leisure areas to show off, so all of the practical stuff just got crammed where you can't see them from the outside.

Great review! I absolutely love this set. Lots of interesting pieces in nice colours. I love some of the technic aspects. It looks really nice and has all sort of interesting modern items as part of the house and furniture. Looks really fun to build. I was happy to see a new bird piece-- a peach-faced lovebird. Gives me hope they will sometime come out with a cockatiel at that scale. So much to like about this set. I look forward to acquiring and building it some day.

This set looks really nice. The one gripe I think I have with it besides the elevator being hard to access is the arch pieces representing the top of the waterfall. Trans blue would have been better and make it look uninterrupted. Other than that? Really cool. Really really really cool.

I wonder why the city and expert teams don't take more pointers from the friends team. they are obviously doing something right if they get their figures printed all the way around, and they seem to have a lot more creative ideas. i feel like this theme has the overall best designers

Hey! Jang! That elevator piece was originally included (and probably designed for) a 4+ set (gabi gabi doll house).so I assume it was more logical to reuse that piece instead of creating new pieces that is basically the same but separated.

Don't worry about the brown extra part it's normal i get the same in my set. So good much more people now get interest in friends set this theme is my main for lots of years now and not gonna lie now with the new generation of character the set are getting way better and better and that probably begin when they make the main street building. Designers now give so much more to us in the friends line and they put way much details. Whatever best theme for me and this set is a good representation of what friends is now and get all the 5 OG characters in only 1 set is incredible i never think that going to happen 1 day. (even if the employee gift 1 years get the 5 in)

I am becoming more interested in the Friends theme. I am looking at getting a few of the new sets for my niece to play with. Though not sure if I will get this mansion set. Because I ended up buying that Lego Paradisa mansion that you reviewed with the baseplate that had a driveway and a pool. I am enjoying building a custom mansion on that with Miami inspired pastel colours.
