Wish it was larger as well the boat house and tower seem a bit small. They could’ve added more flooring to the first floor and more wall areas to give it a better interior, sometimes I think they are going cheap giving us less and making sets smaller less detailed but increasing the price.

That picture is of Sir Cadogan, the mad knight who barely showed up in the 3rd film, but was in all the books. All the new portraits are of wizards from the lore of the Wizarding World, most of them from the 101 Chocolate Frog cards.

Confirmed: The white stuff is canonically not snow. After all, why would there be snow inside? Also, i know everyone's already said this, but the knight is Sir Cadogan, and the "little baby owl" is actually a fully grown pygmy owl, Pigwidgeon. (I also love the inclusion of Filch, which is based on a really funny scene in the book.)

I don’t do too much Harry Potter, but the Dark Gray makes the pieces more versatile for other uses. Maybe a Black Falcon tower?

Thank you for a really in-depth review. I agree with you that it could've been bigger, it's a bit weird adding Filch without Mrs. Norris, there could have been more owls - although the latter issue is easily addressed by adding owls from the other sets. Would love to see your review of Magical Creatures - I'm considering getting a bunch of those to build myself a large forest as background for Hagrid's hut and the future Aragog set, which Ford Anglia would also tie particularly well into.

Its a bit 2-sided scene. One the creat HP 4 owlery scene like the movie. One with Filch with the funny scene from the book HP 5. Like the set, but going to buy it on sale someday. Price bit too high, although will be cheaper at amazon and other shops compared to Lego stores in my country. Like you said should have been a little bigger. But will see how it compares with the rest of the sets when it comes to size.

Yeah, I’m pretty sure the witch with the crown is Rowena Ravenclaw; the one with the cup is Helga Huffepuff; Salazar Slytherin with the high collar and beard; kind of can see a wizard with a sword-Godric Gryffindor. I’d like to think the lady with the big poofy dress is Glinda the good witch 😂

Ive already invested in the sand green roofs so im good with the castle i have. But still looks cool nonetheless. Also i believe the knight is supposed to be Sir Cardogan. He was a character in the books but did have a deleted scene in prisoner of azkaban.

I know there are the four founders (moving left to right Godric Gryffindor is top row, 2nd one in, Salazar Slytherin is middle row second in and Helga Hufflepuff follows right after, and Rowena Ravenclaw is bottom row second one in), to be honest I have no idea who the others are, the first one in row 2 could be Jocunda Sykes who was also featured on the chocolate frog cards but I’m not 100%, sorry I don’t know the rest

No sorry. I include USD because that's the basic price everyone uses. And then CAD because I'm Canadian. If I do GBP then I'd need to include AUD, DKK, etc. I wouldn't know where to stop.
