The kitchen cabinet you mentioned is a play feature. You turn the knob to activate Molly Weasley's self-scrubbing frying pan. It's a fantastic set. (But a shame that almost all HP related graphics are stickers.)

Yeah the mechanism looks really good. It’s a shame there looks like so many stickers, Gringotts and Diagon Alley both had lots of stickers so not really surprising

I will absolutely get it, when it eventually gets a sale. My only complaints are the solid one color and the bottom floor not being wider. But still love it

Yeah that’s a fair observation, I was always going to get it on release day day and having 3 HP promos is a nice bonus🙂

With the Burrow collectors set now here, I do hope we get to see other iconic places at some point. I would love to see an actual large scale Minister of Magic, maybe a Hogwarts Quittich arena, and a large Hogsmeade Village similar to the scale of Daigon Alley. Still also hoping for a collectors edition Durmstrang Ship or maybe even possibly Azkaban itself. My girl definitely wants this set and now its officially one set we dont need to scour the interent for, for the retired version. Unfortunately it wont be a day one purchase for us but we do plan on buying a couple Harry Potter sets to at least get the GWP's. Hopefully theres some good sales on sets like there were for last years Gringotts Bank release.

Yeah Lego really need to do a huge version of the Ministry of Magic, the one from a few years ago was very underwhelming but was constrained with Lego trying to keep it as cheap as possible so was really hamstrung. I would like a huge Durmstrang but might be a few years if that ever happens. I just built the one released in June and it’s a really great version of it

@@TheDyslexicGeak Yeah the retired Ministry is very underwhelming. We actually found a good deal on 2 additonal ones at walmart and second hand that we combined with an existing set we owned. It all cost roughly $180 and does look better. The new Durmstrang does look nice and it still surprises me with the scale of it. I just didnt expect it to be that large for what can be called a dual set at that price point. I wouldnt expect a collectors edition until probably the 2030's at the earliest with this new set out

@@foreverfornever1124 yeah I remember hearing about combining two sets but I never got round to buying a second one and sold the one I have. I know Malfoy Manor is coming in January, I wonder what the major HP release will be next summer

@@AccioLEGO lol thanks and I agree! Sometimes I think Lego just doesnt trust itself and/or its customers when it comes to certain licenced themes and what they think may or may not sell. Like imagine a brick built Nimbus 2000. It doesnt have to be crazy big or anything, include a nice display stand for the broom and thats something people would buy and happily display on their shelves. Hell for Star Wars Im still waiting on the day they stop messing around with these lightsaber GWP's and make an actual set line with in scale sabers

Finally we have official images and what a corker 👍. I’m definitely going to buy this on day 1 as I want the GWP’s but will sit in my backlog for a while. It’s one of those must-have HP sets and have all the previous collector sets to-date.

Yeah the pictures that have been floating around have been little blurry so nice to see it and it looks great. I was expecting it to be much more expensive plus with 3 promos, great day one buy🙂
