After a lot of research I finally think I know where the last Gold Brick is that I'm missing. This video will either show I found it, or it will be used as evidence to lock me up in the looney bin. The game's getting to me man. Enjoy!

Hey I have a glitch too. I can’t get Rita skeeter because I don’t have the locks where the snakes wore so I can’t bring up the mats for the thing Harris pulls to get water floating up. You know how to fix it?

@@TheAbbeman I don't know how to fix it. I had trouble targetting the snakes but I don't know if that has anything to do with it. It might be a glitch as I've seen other people are having issues with that so unfortunately your game might require a restart. I'm so sorry.

Hope this may help someone. Found my last in the Gryffindor dorm room, using the time travel clock (which I didn't even know it was there). Use it with Hermione, and it's the big chest you need to jump into, to travel under the floor, then claiming the gold brick.

My gold brick indicator says it is in front of the bookshelf where the imps are but nothing is there

I think you need to do the brown hats in order to get that gold brick. if you zap the pixies there and the brown hats on both balconies I think that will get you the gold brick. The left balcony one is on the front corner. And the one on the right balcony is on the shelf behind the mandrake. I hope that's the one you're missing.

I’ve been playing LHP on PS4 and I have the character token detector, red & gold brick detectors, but I have never seen them work. I bought them at diagon alley, is there anything I have to do to like “activate” them or something?

You have to pause the game and turn Extras on. Any red brick you've purchased should be available to turn on.

Okay. I've searched everywhere, bought all the bricks in Diagon Alley and did all the Gringotts levels, but I'm still missing one gold brick. I've scoured the map and completed all the story levels and the monuments under Leaky Cauldon, but still no dice. There is an indicator in the restricted section, but it's a glitch for the crest detector, rather than the actual gold brick in the middle of the room. I'm stumped.

At last! With just one student in peril and one gold brick. I walked into the great hall with all the food and stuff and there up on the wall on the left was a student. When I freed him I got the trophy and then gold tally went to 200 😳😀👍 Think it’s just a case of the diagon alley and then buying the animaji stuff Thanks again

Oh frick. I've already took gold brick from the library, and still need to find one damn brick. Detector is not working meaning that there's no bricks left. I feel that I got a glitch when game just doesn't count brick from the library as found one. God, please no. I don't want to replay from the start... Also I can't find another four chars (excluding Voldemort). Detector indicates on gramophone in owl house, but for some reasons it doesn't work and I can't understand what I am suppose to do. Also it indicates on the area beyond the hall with Houses rooms and again I don't understand what to do. Guides say I must hit flags, but it didn't work. And where I should search the other two chars? (P. S I completed Story Mode for 100%)

I think the gramaphone in the owley you have to play more than one record. The only 4 flags thing I remember is in the big area outside of the house hall. 2 of the flags hang down on the edge of the center stairs, the other two are high on the wall on either side of the door in the back center.

Hi! I was hoping you could help me here. I have completed every level for 1-4 for every 3 characters, true wizard, student in peril and crests in the set of levels. And no gold bricks are showing up on the detector and I’ve competed every gringotts vault level ;( I am stuck on 196 gold bricks and I’m missing 3 students in peril with missing Voldemort and 2 others, I have completely turned the whole map of hogwarts and diagon alley upside down but still can’t find the last student in perils or last 4 gold bricks... As for character token I know you get Voldemort for finishing the Lego City level which I believe can be found in Borgens & Burkes in Knockturn alley. You might even get a gold brick for completing it too. There might be other gold bricks in Knockturn alley to find as well. For the other character tokens check out this list and cross of the ones you have and go looking for the ones you are missing. lego-harry-potter-years-14.fandom.com/wiki/Character_Tokens For the students in peril there are some in Hogwarts unfortunately there's no indicators for them. Try using this link and check out all the places in Hogwarts as the levels will show if you've got them there. @@katherinealexander2566 Is it not showing you an arrow anywhere? I think you get a gold brick when you get all character tokens so that might be one of them. Once we know which ones you are missing we can point you in the right direction of where to find them.

You get gold bricks for finding other things like one for each student in peril and for each True Wizard and House Crest completions. Voldemort is in Borgin & Burkes but you need to collect all 200 gold bricks first. Once you do build the gold bricks to another bonus level and complete and you'll get his character token to buy. Neville Longbottom's token is in the Hufflepuff Common Room. Just break the 3 glass jars/vases with the mandrake just outside the common room and you should get it. See if that helps

@@alexismarie2601 Voldemort's character token is in the yard where you battle him. After a cut scene after you battle the snake, when you fight him for the first time break off the fight and go to the back of the screen to an enclosed walkway around the outside edge of the courtyard and his token should be there. It's in the walkway that's by some dark magic red glowies. As for the last gold brick in the Library there are 5 books that you you've got to find and put back on the shelves. It might be too complicated to explain so I'll just link to a video by Happy Thumbs Gaming as he gives the best walk through for the area (I turned to him when I got stuck and couldn't find instructions that I understood online). The one in the middle of the room? If so, there are 3 brown witches hats in the room. One at the back of the room left of he back door, one on the front corner of the left balcony, and one on the right balcony on the shelf in front of the book cases. I think if you zap those 3 hats the gold brick in the middle of the floor appears. (Hopefully I'm right as I'm going off of memory)

thats a glitch! its actually a hufflepuff crest detector and not a gold brick, turn off the hogwarts crest detector and it will disappear! the brick you're looking for is somewhere else

Have you gone into the owl shop and swept the floor (I think that's in years 1-4)? That one can be tricky to sweep the entire floor and get it to register that you did it. Just keep sweeping and it will pop and give you a gold brick. Hope that helps and I'm remembering the right game (they're starting to blur together). Let me know if that helps.

Sorry my videos aren't helping. If I knew what character you are missing I could tell you where to find it. The gold bricks are harder. Turn the gold brick indicator on and see what areas give you a gold triangle arrow. If you let me know that I can tell you were they might be.

Go into the owl shop and grab the broom and sweep the entire floor. You will need to sweep every corner so it might take a while for it to pop so don't give up.

I’ve spent hours upon hours watching guides to find the last student in peril and last gold brick and I have them all but it says 49/50 and 199/200

I know there is a glitch that if you walk away during the animation of when a student gets free so it's not on the screen it's possible that you rescued the student but you don't get credit for them. i played lego harry potter games about a month ago and i got stuck with 1 missing gold brick too. after very long time, gold brick locator showed it was in gryffindor common room bedroom in time turner version and i still couldn't figure that out. i read guide i used multiple times before Finally my brain turned on. i had misread guide the whole time. it clearly said JUMP IN the chest, but my brain decided to skip that part and i was tiny bit mad to myself.

This game is a broken mess. I played on both xbox and PC and I'm always stuck on either 198 or 199 gold bricks.

@@noveltylaser693 if you pause the game it will show you how many students in peril you are missing. I would go online and see if you can find a list of their locations and check off which ones you remember getting and exploring the rest. Let me know if that helps.

Did you zap all the brown hats? That's how I found my last gold brick. They blend in so they're easy to miss.

There is one on the front corner of the left balcony, one in the back of the room to the left of the door, and one on the right balcony on the shelf in front of the books. Zap each of them and then the gold brick (and a lot of studs) will appear in the center of the room.

If you have the character token locator red brick turn it on and it will help point you in the right direction. It will take a lot of exploring around Hogwarts but you should get all of them.

@@kiaelven you have to find the red brick that is the character locator and then biy it in Diagon Alley. Make sure to turn it on by pausing the game and going to extras (sometimes I forget to do that when I buy a new red brick). It will show you a white arrow/triangle pointing to where a character token is. For some you might have to do a few things to get them.

I needed 5 and I went through every area on hogwarts but no gold indicator until I saw a time turner for Hermione to use I have since used it two more times I only need two but goodness it’s frustrating 👍😀

We have everything except the last gold brick. We are playing on switch. There is the gold brick arrow in the library and in the restricted area but there are no hats 😭

The arrow in the Library might be the Library glitch. I made a video on that so check it out in the playlist and see if that's the arrow you are seeing. Do you have al the Students in Peril? There's no arrow for those but when you pause the game you can see at the bottom how many you have. You get a gold brick for each one. If that's still not it there's a link in one of my comments where you can find a list of all the gold bricks and can use that site to cross off the ones you know you got and search for the ones that are left.

@@Pengwenn we went out and to the leaky cauldron and back several times. Returned to hogwarts and the library, knockturn and such and then it said we had 200. Never saw any brown wizard hats but we went and got voldemort. 😂🤷‍♀️

@@Pengwenn I spent about 8 hours combined last night and this morning searching high and low with the detector on, and I've been googling constantly trying everyone's tips, I was really happy when I saw this video if not a little sceptical mine was in the same place. I can tell you I got a little loud when I saw the hat in the restricted section, so glad to be able to platinum this!

@@skyhighdw4328 I don't know if there is a cheat code for his character token. If there is I would be afraid that if I used it it wouldn't count towards the achievements. You get him if you complete the Lego city level after building the archway in borgens & burkes. Go inside and play the level and get all the studs by destroying everything and you'll get him. Extras won't work so you can't cheese it.
